Here is a little snippet from OSSA’s Closing Number. I’ve gotta say, when I walked out into the middle of the stage after being told I was going to perform on a Broadway stage in about a month, it was such a disgustingly raw feeling. Then when I saw @cady.santo , that joy and emotion was absolutely real. We got to share the experience of knowing that we were living our dreams right then and there. I’m still flooded with that raw emotion every time I see this clip, so I figured it would be the perfect thing to share with you all. I know I’ve said it about a thousand times, but THANK YOU to @provpacri and the Ocean State Star Awards for making my life feel so unreal.

It wouldn’t be a Nevan Maselon Instagram Post without it being INCREDIBLY belated, but this one was extra special. The 2026 Jimmy Awards were absolutely the greatest experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. Nothing can compare; the information I’ve learned, the adventures I’ve been on, and— most importantly— the PEOPLE I’ve met. I’ve made lifelong bonds and memories with people I grew close to over the span of 11 days. That’s truly one of the most beautiful things about the Jimmy Awards and musical theater as a whole; the community. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. What I have learned from and experienced during the Jimmy Awards is something that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I am absolutely changed. To have the chance to experience the Jimmys is a dream come true and I cannot understate how grateful I am for every beautiful opportunity thrown in my direction. Can’t wait for what’s next! I am beyond grateful and absolutely, utterly ELATED to have been selected as OSSA’s nominee for the 2026 Jimmy Awards. I have no words other than “I am blown away”. It has still not clicked to me that in a month I’m going to be making my Broadway debut. The words don’t even feel right coming out of my mouth. Nor has the concept fully been realized that I won an $80,000 scholarship to NYFA. I’m in total disbelief and I am so incredibly overwhelmed with excitement and gratitude. I feel like if I keep typing I’m just going to keep rambling. All I really want to say is thank you to PPAC and thank you to OSSA for the opportunity of a lifetime and I can’t wait for the next step in this unbelievable journey.

I also want to say thank you so much to everyone involved in OSSA for being the most stunning community of creatives. I could not have asked for a better crew to be stuck with singing and dancing with for a week. You are all soooo talented and I love you all with all my whole heart, genuinely. I also really hope that we all remain close and we all hang out together very soon.

P.S. I’m still finding even more pics, so there will probably be more OSSA posts haha!
