2023 show number 26: Weekends with Adele • Friday October 13 • Week 31 ✨

So it seems giving (Funko) pops is now my love language... where do I begin?!?! Wanted to make this post at the end of the trip since I haven’t had time to sit and properly formulate words. As I sit on the planes heading back to reality, these few days feel absolutely surreal. It’s been a tightly packed couple of days, so I’m running on adrenaline + major lack of sleep.

The purpose of this trip revolved around seeing Adele, which happens to be exactly 7 years since I saw her. Spent two years miserably waitlisted, but somehow copped two tickets 6 months ago when she announced the second half of the residency. Got a specific seat I wanted but that was the beginning. I was beyond ecstatic but wanted to keep it realistic since there were still multitude of factors that could affect this moment. Adele could’ve cancelled, the pandemic, I could’ve got covid again, etc. It felt like waiting for the other shoe to drop. People would constantly ask if I was excited, how planning was, etc and it was always the same - I haven’t done nor felt anything (yet).

This moment made my entire trip worth it. All the patience along with the stress paid off. Firstly, the show was beyond incredible. Absolutely magical. Intimate. I’ve been saying this since 2016, and still to this day, Adele is hands down the best concert I’ve ever attended. The show encompasses everything - the humour, the humanity, the emotions, THE VOCALS. It’s simply not another 2hr “performance” you watch, it’s a moment you’re absolutely engaged into and will remember.

My ‘hobby’ has peaked. Adele was the top of the top of my list I’ve always wanted to meet; and now I can finally cross that off my bucket list. I can’t even believe I’m saying that. Her reaction was priceless, I didn’t expect her to be that shocked when she saw it. I have two customs of her - one is the send my love look and the other is the classic black dress worn for Adele Live 2016. I decided to give her the send my love one since this dress was hand painted 1/1 custom and the details were 🤌🏼

If anyone was at the show or has seen photos/vids online - pls direct to me🪐 taken in Colosseum at Caesars Palace by @neverfallaprt

I don’t think I’ve shared this on this account last year when it happened.. but since it’s related to this account, here it goes! It was pretty exciting (tbh) to be interviewed on Breakfast Television by Dina last year today. It feels like it happened yesterday.

What a whirlwind of a morning that was and a crazy experience. 😰

My first radio interview for TIFF 2019 with CBC Radio at the beginning of the festival on the famous festival street.

Stay tuned for the next video in the series for the end of the festival “check in” interview! @cbcradiocanada

My white whale for tiff26 only because it’s taken me 10 years to meet Sarah and redemption for last time 🫪 Absolutely loved her in AHS (no surprise) but haven’t had much luck last time she was here in 2019. If you were there you’d remember how I went around all the spots trying to meet her and ended up short at each one. I still didn’t believe it would happen this year since I ended up leaving before she showed up where I was (and fell asleep bc it was the beginning of the start of feeling unwell) 😪

Love Cody as well but didn’t even realize he was right there at the time until I looked back at this video 🫩

I don’t usually ask for another photo the next time I see someone if I already got one, but there are certain exceptions… and Michelle would definitely be one of them. If the opportunity presents itself, I’ll never say no to a photo with Michelle Yeoh even if I already have one. ☝🏼 #tiff26 #tiff2026 #michelleyeoh @michelleyeoh_official taken in TIFF by @neverfallaprt
