AVANT-GARDE, THROUGH MY EYES.

This past weekend, I had the honor of creating the Sponsorship Art Wall for the JMEA 2026 M & E Awards, bringing the Avant-Garde theme to life through my mixed-media work.

Seeing my pieces come together as one installation was incredibly special—and then stepping in front of the wall wearing an art piece I designed and had brought to life by my designer made the moment even more personal.

From the wall to the dress, I got to make the entire evening a reflection of my creative language.

Art isn’t just what I hang. Sometimes, it’s what I wear. ✨

A WALL OF MY OWN

Tonight, October 3rd, 2026, I had the privilege of standing before something I still find a little surreal—

an entire wall of my work.

At the M&E Awards, beneath the theme Avant-Garde, my pieces came together as one collective installation: mixed media, texture, found materials, colour, sculpture, storytelling, and a little bit of beautiful chaos.

Each piece was created at a different moment, for a different purpose, with its own story to tell.

Yet seeing them together like this made me realize something:

they speak to one another.

What began as individual ideas became a world of its own.

And tonight, I didn’t simply attend the M&E Awards.

I arrived with my art.

A wall entirely composed of pieces created by my hands, my imagination, and my willingness to see beauty in materials that others might overlook.

For an artist, there are few things quite like standing in front of your own work and realizing—

I made all of this.

Tonight, I let myself be proud of that.

Human Frequency explores the human ingenuity behind the connections that bring us closer together. Technology may carry the signal, but it is the human mind that imagines, develops, and continually redefines the ways we reach one another.

Created for @Digicel as part of the sponsorship art wall for the JMEA 2026 M & E Awards, this mixed-media piece is my interpretation of the invisible threads connecting us all.

Because beyond every call, every message, and every signal, there is a human being reaching for another.

Different places. Different voices. One human frequency.

A good drive, classic cars, and a little automotive art! 🚘🎨

Spent the day out in Junction, St. Elizabeth, with @jamaicaclassiccarclub and what an experience it was! From enjoying the drive to meeting residents who shared an interest in my automotive paintings, it was a rewarding day all around. I even got to send a good number of my pieces home with new owners! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who showed love and supported my work. It was a pleasure sharing my art with you, and I’m already looking forward to next month’s car show!

INKTOBER 02 — THE TREASURE WAS HER 🧭💰

A new series begins.

I’ve started taking old drawings—pieces that people no longer want, pieces that might otherwise be thrown away—and reimagining them through my eyes.

A little trash-to-treasure experiment.

This particular drawing was originally created by my friend @skotei. When I first saw her, I didn’t see a discarded drawing.

I saw a map.

I saw an island waiting to be discovered.

The coins became treasure.
The chains became forgotten routes.
The compass became a warning.
And she became the destination.

The more I imagined the island, the more I wondered…

What if the treasure wasn’t something she was hiding?

What if she was the treasure?

And so, through mixed media, I gave an old drawing a new voyage.

INKTOBER 01 — MEMENTO BLOOM 🌸💀

And so, October begins.

For my first piece of this year’s Inktober collection, I’m stepping away from the traditional ink drawing and entering October through the language I know best: mixed media.

Memento Bloom explores the quiet relationship between mortality and beauty—a weathered skull nestled among flowers, colour, and metallic forms.

A little reminder that death and beauty have never truly been opposites.

Sometimes, one simply grows around the other.

OCTOBER IS CALLING…

And this year, I intend to answer it one creation at a time.

Inktober 2026 is coming to NeverMuse Studio.

But don’t expect thirty-one ordinary ink drawings.

I’m taking the spirit of Inktober and sending it through the wonderfully strange little machinery of my imagination—mixed media, texture, paint, found materials, sculptural elements… and perhaps a few automobiles along the way.

For every day of October, a new piece.

Thirty-one days.
Thirty-one creations.
One changing season.

No ghosts. No tricks. No Halloween necessary.

Just autumn.

Fallen leaves. Old roads. Rust and metal. Warm colours. Quiet forests. Things weathered by time. Things beginning again.

Some pieces may be delicate.
Some may be mechanical.
Some may be beautifully chaotic.

But every piece will carry a little piece of October with it.
