Life is changing so fast. This has been one of the best weekends- so much has happened and evolved. Just had to catch a moment. I love my life and the people in it. Truly grateful. 🫶 by @nevinsounds

Experiencing multiple monarch butterflies on the last day of summer was a beautiful sign. It was also pure luck on top of intuition, as I walked a different way than ever before and knocked into these zinnias when 3-4 startled monarchs came out to feed right in front of me.

In the last 3 years I’ve only seen one at a time in Chicago so this was a very special moment, as every year they are more endangered.

My song “Bird Carousel” fit the vibe and I’m excited to be finishing up my new ambient album this fall.

We all need to slow down and enjoy these fleeting moments. It’s good for our nervous systems and overall health in these perilous times, to pay better attention to the very nature that spawned us.

Infrared’s debut was beyond what I could’ve ever imagined. Thank you @decibelchicago for giving me the space to collab with artists @dadamanifesto & @ellexldrag who truly created magic last night. Our beautiful, diverse queer community filled the iconic space giving it a warm surreal vibe like I loved so much at Berlin 💕
I’m overwhelmed with media from last night but these were my green room looks…
Thanks to all who came out, helped out, DJed, bartended, kept us safe. And my family & people who supported!! Thanks to the best dj daughter in the world @djriyariya what a perfect @house.of.riven debut 🫶
It’s an honor to curate the sound for this party- each dj was exactly what I’d hoped they’d be… I’m proud I trusted my instincts. It’s a role I never imagined but it definitely feels like home. With the right collaborators, the right vision, and when it’s truly a labor of love… most anything is possible. 💐 taken in Decibel Chicago by @nevinsounds

We're excited to announce: House of Riven! We DJ so much together that the next natural step was to start our own duo. Playing together has been such a reward for both of us because we're not just musicians. We're chosen family. We can't wait to bring you into our world at our upcoming sets. by @nevinsounds
