Huge congratulations to our brother Rick, who stepped onto the mat this past weekend after months of hard work, training, discipline, and dedication — and walked away with 3rd place overall and some hardware to show for it.

We’ve watched this dude train his ass off for what seems like forever, all leading up to this moment.

The medal is awesome, but we’re even more proud of the work it took to earn it. Showing up. Putting in the hours. Testing yourself. And having the courage to compete. That’s the strenuous life.

Hell of a job, brother. We’re damn proud of you. 🫎

The best way to protect public lands is to help more people experience them.

As part of The New Roosevelts’ Adventure Pass Program, we purchased a stack of California Adventure Passes and surprised lucky people at REI and Bass Pro Shops with them.

Every month, a portion of club funds go toward buying these passes so we can help more people get outside and discover everything our public lands have to offer.

No catch. No pitch. Just an opportunity to get outside and make some memories.

If you’re one of the people who received a pass this weekend, we hope it leads you on an adventure you’ll never forget. And if it inspires you, please pay it forward someday by helping someone else discover the outdoors.

The scars of the Bain Fire are still visible across Norco, but so is the willingness of this community to rebuild.

Today, the New Roosevelts joined local volunteers to help restore parts of the wilderness damaged by the fire. We dug out burned wooden signposts, installed new fire-resistant replacements, and set them in concrete so visitors can safely find their way again.

One of the most meaningful moments of the day was helping replace the memorial sign for a park ranger whose legacy still lives on through his son, Hunter. It was an honor to play a small part in preserving that memory.

Conservation isn’t just about enjoying the outdoors. It’s about showing up when those places and communities need us most.

A damn fine day with good men, honest work, and another reminder that service to your community doesn’t require recognition—just a willingness to lend a hand.

04/26/26 at Beacon Hill Trail (Norco, CA)

Bags filled. Trash hauled.
A couch dragged off the hillside.
And another in the works.

Good people. Honest work.
And a piece of our home left a little better than we found it.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and got after it.

If you’ve been looking for a way to get involved—this is it.

A wonderful day with the @new_roosevelts crew! Today we all completed the new member “crucible” hike up Skyline Trail in Corona, as well as a deadlift challenge to align ourselves with “the strenuous life”. Now we are all official members and we can start doing some good work!

Honored to be a part of a crew who wants to dedicate our free time to spreading the word of conservation and protecting our public lands. In a time when protecting our national parks and public lands has fallen to the wayside, it’s more important than ever to fight back and remind our generation, and future generations, of how important it is to protect our rivers, trees, mountains, beaches, and all natural wonders we are lucky to have here in the US.

Let me know if you want to hop onboard! We’ll be doing some exciting stuff this year in hopes of building this idea to something huge.

“Here is your country. Cherish these natural wonders, cherish the natural resources, cherish the history and romance as a sacred heritage, for your children and your children’s children”. - Theodore Roosevelt 🏔️

The Boone & Crockett Club was founded in 1887 by Theodore Roosevelt and other outdoorsmen who believed that strength, discipline, and conservation were inseparable.

They understood that a nation and community is only as strong as those willing to steward its land, test themselves against it and pass those values on to the next generation.

The New Roosevelts exist to carry that legacy forward.

Not to imitate it, but to live it.
