David Rios Ferreira
For You Came Along, Out of a Dream I Recall
Dimensions: 10 × 49 ft
Installed on the pool deck, Ferreira’s immersive mural transforms the space into a vibrant landscape of hummingbirds, native flora, archival imagery, and narratives tied to the Passaic River. Drawing on ecology, migration, memory, and his Taíno heritage, the artwork invites reflection on the histories and relationships woven into the local landscape.

Eirini Linardaki
My City Threads the River
Dimensions: 10 × 284 ft
Stretching along McCarter Highway, Linardaki’s expansive mural unfolds as a dynamic landscape designed to be experienced in motion. Textural fabrics collected and photographed across Newark serve as the metaphorical “threads” of the city, while depicting the bridges and waterways that connect its diverse neighborhoods and communities.

Our athletes earned seven podium (2 gold, 2 silvers, and 3 bronze) finishes across 9 sculling events yesterday @headotpassaic .

This was our best collective effort at this regatta to date! Thank you to all of our coaches, donors, educators, family, and friends who make developing these young people within the sport possible!

Throwing it back to good vibes at the @newarkriverfront

During @north2shore , Brick City Jam x @newarkriverfront brought our annual International Hip Hop Day to life with @jerseycreatorsmarket , @break.infinite , dope dance, vendors, and some serious Hip Hop talent — with @doitalldu headlining the day.

One for the books. 🎤🎨🕺🏾
