We are beyond PROUD to announce that Newport Central Catholic has been nominated as a 2025 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the Council for American Private Education (CAPE)! 💙💛

This recognition places us among the top-performing schools in the nation — and one of only two private schools selected in the entire state of Kentucky. 🏆

Although the U.S. Department of Education has since ended the program, this national nomination stands as a powerful testament to our students’ incredible achievements, the dedication of our faculty, and the unwavering support of our alumni and community.

Principal Collopy said it best: “This doesn’t detract from the accomplishments of our students and teachers. It only affirms them.” 🙌

NCC is proud today, and we couldn’t be more excited to share this with YOU — our amazing students, families, alumni, and supporters!

Thank you St. Joseph Church, Fr. Andrew Young and Fr. AJ Gedney for celebrating Mass with us yesterday!

Fr. Andrew reminded us that God gives us restrictions so we may fully experience life here and live eternally with Him. Love is meant to motivate everything we do. by @newcath_breds
