My October TBR⭐️

Hi besties! I’ve finally decided on my TBR! Including a lot of rereads🤭 I’m back in my Fourth Wing fangirl era! So obviously a reread alongside Threshing Day is needed🙂‍↕️ I am a little bit less ambitious this month due to last months huge slump but I feel myself coming out of it so I sprinkled in some romance and lit fic in there🌷

Happy warm months (in the southern hemisphere) and I hope this October is great for everyone 🤞🏻 taken in BOOKSTA by @newchapterforcass

Hi besties!

I’ve been in an instagram/reading slump so I’m posting this literally from my bed while reading Threshing Day😂🌷

Life has been a bit hectic recently and I can’t promise it will die down super soon but for now, catch me on my Stories as always.

Love you darlings! Fly or Die❤️ taken in BOOKSTA by @newchapterforcass

Convincing you to read my favourite books part #1!

Hi besties, if there’s one thing I will always attempt to do is convince my friends to read a book I love🙂‍↕️ so today you are on that list 🫵🏼

I thought I’d make this a series of sorts if you like it? So maybe more to come! taken in BOOKSTA by @newchapterforcass

Welcome to my weekly updates besties!
I hope you all had the best week and have a great week to come❤️

The cold seems to have calmed down in Joburg which means spring dresses and the cure of my seasonal depression. 🫠

A few things living rent free in my mind🤭

East of Eden🇺🇸🔥

An absolute infinity star ⭐️ read for me. There’s some books that I finish and I have about a million thoughts. However, when I finished this I was just in absolute awe. I usually only give a book such a high rating if I cry and I didn’t cry in this book. I kind of just stared at the page in shock.

This book was my back bone for 3 months and I’m so sad to leave it. Steinbeck was a genius for this. I’m sure I will come back to this with better and more coherent thoughts but wow I loved this. taken in Santa Catarina Park by @newchapterforcass

Hello Besties!

Sorry about the radio silence recently🫠 I got a concussion about two weeks ago and I’ve been battling with it ever since 🤯 luckily my headaches seem to have subsided substantially so catch me posting more🙂‍↕️

Here’s a little post of what I’ve been up to in the past week. So honestly not a lot but I thought it was worth a little mention🤭

I hope you are all having a great week and a fabulous August! taken in BOOKSTA by @newchapterforcass

📚Come spend my weekly reset with me as I wrap up this week’s reads and choose my next reads📚

Every Sunday/Monday I like to slow down and reset for the week ahead, starting with my reading life.

This week I finished listening to Shield of Sparrows, and overall gave it 4.5✨ It was a strong romantasy.

I finally decided to ☁️soft☁️DNF , Bride. It’s just not clicking with me. Sorry Ali Hazelwood fans!

I did continue my read of East of Eden and I’m doing an in depth study of it and taking notes🤓

Now comes my favourite part, shopping my own shelves.

I’m in the mood for a lit fic and a cowboy romance so I’m adding in James and Wild Love.

There’s something about starting a new reading week with a fresh stack that makes me so excited to read.

My 5 star predictions!✨

Hi friends!

Happy weekend! I’ve had quite the hard week but I did get a lot of inspiration from my current tbr and i have a lot of high hopes for a lot of the books on there!

I had such a lovely Saturday with my bestie @simon.says.books ❤️ we went on a nice long hike and it felt so good to be in nature. I forget how much I miss nature after being in the city for so long but my body craves the outdoors and it was a fantastic time. I hope you have a great weekend too!

My orbiter🪐

I haven’t spoken about this book on my page for years but it never leaves my heart or mind. My original indie edition is so annotated that it’s literally held together with tape.
This is very much a “vibe” book but it resonates with me so much!

I think it’s time for a reread!🙂‍↕️🫶🏻
