What an incredible day @wsgevents. We had the best time. All the schools were incredible and we made so many friends. This event bought children from around the world together doing what they love and enjoying performing on stage. It was a pleasure to see everyone shine. We are over whelmed with the results. Congratulations to all of the schools and thank you @lucyjaneadcock and @ljayhalliday for your amazing feedback and support.

We have just received the amazing news that Esmé in year 3 has been accepted into the Royal Ballet Junior Associate Programme!
This is an exciting and incredible opportunity for Esmé to train and pursue her passion. Out of the thousands of children who auditioned nationwide for the scheme, only about 10% are accepted. We are absolutely thrilled that she has been selected to take this next step in her ballet journey.

WE WON! – INNOVATION IN DANCE EDUCATION
We are absolutely delighted and incredibly proud to announce that New Hall Dance School has won the national award for Innovation in Dance Education!
This award means so much to us because it recognises something at the very heart of everything we believe in at New Hall — that dance is so much more than dance.
It is about confidence. Belonging. Wellbeing. Faith. Community. Opportunity. Friendship. And, most importantly, joy.
Our vision has always been to make dance accessible to everyone. From a child’s very first dance class to examinations, theatre performances and representing their country on the world stage, every journey matters. Equally important are those students who simply discover the confidence to join in, express themselves and experience the happiness that movement can bring.
This award belongs to our whole New Hall community.
To our wonderful students — thank you for your energy, courage, commitment and willingness to embrace every opportunity we give you. You are the reason we do what we do.
To our incredible Dance team — thank you for your creativity, dedication and the care you give to our students every single day.

A very special thank you must go to Mrs Jeffrey, our Principal, for her vision, encouragement and continued support of the Dance Department. Having a school leadership that believes in the value of dance and understands the impact it can have on young people’s lives has allowed us to dream bigger, create new opportunities and continue pushing the boundaries of what dance education can be.

And thank you to our parents, colleagues and the entire New Hall community for supporting our dancers, celebrating their achievements and believing in our vision.

We believe everyone can dance.
And we will continue to innovate, inspire and create opportunities for every young person to find their place through movement.

🌟 ANOTHER AMAZING ACHIEVEMENT! 🌟

We are incredibly proud of Jack! 👏💙

After being awarded a Golden Ticket at the 2026 Dance World Cup to attend a Musical Theatre workshop in Barcelona, Spain 🇪🇸, Jack has now received another fantastic opportunity — a scholarship to attend the RAD Musical Theatre Summer Programme next year! 🎭✨

With only TWO scholarships awarded in the Musical Theatre genre, being selected is an incredible achievement and a wonderful recognition of Jack’s talent, hard work and dedication.

What an exciting journey you are on, Jack. We are so proud of everything you are achieving and cannot wait to see what comes next! ⭐️

Congratulations, Jack! 👏🎭💙

✨ MORE THAN DANCE ✨

What if dance could be more than steps, technique and performance?

What if it could build confidence, create belonging, bring a community together and give every young person the opportunity to discover what they are capable of?

At New Hall Dance School, we believe everyone can dance.

From a child’s very first dance class to performing on the world stage, our aim is to create opportunities for every student — regardless of age, ability or experience.

Dance reaches far beyond our studios. It brings our school together through whole-school events, supports charities, connects with our Catholic faith and wider community, and gives our students opportunities to express themselves, challenge themselves and grow.

For some, dance becomes a pathway to examinations, competitions, vocational training and international performance.

For others, its greatest achievement is finding the confidence to stand up, join in and feel that they belong.

And both are equally important. ❤️

We are incredibly proud to be finalists for both Innovation in Dance Education and Excellence in Dance Education 2026.

Because for us, it has always been about more than dance.

✨ Confidence • Belonging • Community • Opportunity • Joy ✨

From a first step to the world stage — there is a place for everyone.
