{My autumn/fall books} 🤎

How I love book covers featuring women’s beauty and silhouette, it definitely drew me in at first sight!! These covers are simply the most beautiful I have ever saw in my life. I shouldn’t judge books by their covers but I really do lol I do think that the visual impact of the front cover is crucial : the cover acts as a bridge between the reader and the story~ and each of these covers with striking portrait of a woman conveys a specific mood - such as mystery, melancholy and depth .. I need a book to already make me feel immersed in the story at first glance.

Lining up these books with stunning portraits of women on my shelf is as much joy as collecting art for me, that’s I didn’t mind ordering one of them in Polish (language that I will never read or understand) too beautiful not to have it.

They are from @newinkpublishing 🤍🤍 don’t hesitate to check her wonderful work, she is one of the loveliest artist I know and passionate !! She sew and bind the books by hand , revisiting the edition of classics AND she also offers rebinds of any book as well as completely custom books from scratch, ain’t that wonderful 🤗

Planning to have all of her collection!

Mrs Dalloway — Virginia Woolf, reimagined.
The original paperback has been transformed into a handcrafted hardcover edition, covered in antique linen over a century old🧺. I was immediately drawn to its naturally aged texture and quiet character — it felt strangely fitting for Woolf.
Lately, I’ve been spending more time sourcing fabrics, printing proofs, and slowly learning how to make my own book cloth from antique textiles.
Each edition is made by hand in my studio and carries small traces of the process.
