This is Manny Ramirez, the current Tarrant County Precinct 4 Commissioner.

And this is him at Trump's State of the Union, smiling for his selfie with Tom Homan, the architect of mass deportation that is terrorizing our immigrant and Latino communities.

While Homan's ICE raids rip families apart across Tarrant County: abuelas, tíos, coworkers, neighbors, our Latino Commissioner flew to Washington to celebrate the man deporting them. He called it "tremendous."

This is what a WEAK Latino leader looks like. A brown face used to launder a white nationalist agenda. A man who lets his name open doors for our community, then votes behind closed doors to betray it.

Manny Ramirez has voted and supported to:

ACCEPT $140K FROM THE STATE to expand ICE collaboration in Tarrant County.
CUT 92 EARLY-VOTING SITES, making it harder for our community to vote.
STAND WITH TRUMP AND HOMAN while our immigrant neighbors live in fear.

Manny's loyalty is to Trump, Homan, Abbott, and O'Hare. Not to us.

We deserve a Commissioner who will fight for our families and federal cruelty, not a photo-op for the people causing it.

It is time for New Latino Leadership in Fort Worth and Tarrant County!!

Local community members and leaders talked to @el.grito.media at the @lulac National Convention in Fort Worth about the impact of Weak Latino leadership.

From Tarrant County Commissioners Court, Fort Worth City Council, Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber, and FWISD School Board of Managers, local Latino Leaders have shown to be the swing votes for white supremacy.

It is time to end assimilation to white supremacy and build a movement of Solidarity!

As the National LULAC Convention in Fort Worth comes to an end, local Latino leaders are speaking out about the need for New Latino Leadership in Fort Worth and Tarrant County.

IN FORT WORTH AND TARRANT COUNTY

Press Conference to Demand Accountability from Current Officials and Launch Movement of Solidarity

FORT WORTH, Texas (June 20, 2026) – A coalition of community members, organizers, and advocates will hold a press conference to announce a new movement demanding New Latino Leadership in Fort Worth and Tarrant County.

When: Saturday, 6/20 at 2:00 PM
Where: Fort Worth Convention Center, facing the Water Gardens, 1201 Houston Street, Fort Worth, TX 76102

The press conference, organized by New Latino Leadership, will highlight specific failures of current elected and appointed officials who claim to represent the Latino community but have consistently voted against community interests on critical issues including ICE collaboration, voter suppression, police accountability, educational justice, and economic empowerment.

Latino elected officials and leaders in the Tarrant County Commissioners Court, Fort Worth City Council, City of Fort Worth Management, Fort Worth Police Department, Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and Fort Worth ISD Board of Managers have consistently failed the Latino community due to weak leadership focused on assimilation to white supremacy vs solidarity amongst our diverse communities.

The National LULAC conference is in Fort Worth this year. LULAC is the oldest and largest active Hispanic and Latino civil rights organization in the United States.

History was made as community members greeted attendees from all around the country with the WEAK LATINOS signs 🪧 to show that Fort Worth residents are not happy with our current local Latino leadership that assimilates into whiteness and the Fort Worth Way.
