⬆️ My face when I finished the improved sizing math-shenanigans for the Around the World sweater 🥳🥳
I really value you guys putting your trust in me by knitting my patterns, and I value it even more when you send me constructive feedback! The sizing for my Around the World Sweater proved to be a little off for most sizes (yoke depth was too long which caused the sleeves to feel more like poncho-sleeves), and instead of wallowing in guilt and self-pity I put on my big girl pants and worked out the maths for a better fit. We all learn, and I'm so glad you give me the opportunity to fix things.
The new and improved pattern, graded for chest sizes 32-62 inch, is available for free on my blog, and as a paid ad-free PDF through my webshop and Ravelry. Thank you for your support!

A throwback to one of my most popular, most loved knitting patterns: the Colourwork Sampler Blanket. This blanket design was born from the desire to make the most out of my stash of 10 gram sockyarn minis. Each square takes max 5 grams to knit, and then you can knit a second square with the colours reversed to use up the 10 gram mini skeins. I designed 8 squares, and knit 10 of each design, and those 80 squares became this colourful blanket!
A simple seed stitch border finishes off the whole piece.
Find the Colourwork Sampler Blanket as a standalone pattern in my Ravelry store and on my website NewLeafDesigns.nl, or subscribe to my Patreon to get the pattern + tutorial videos for each square!
Even if you end up making just 4 squares and turn it into a cushion cover, I really recommend trying it out as it's so much fun to use up old yarn scraps and turn them into something beautiful!
