Robin and Bernie were so much fun to work with! They were full of smiles the whole day so my job was easy. We also had a stunning backdrop at the Campbell River Golf Club (Naturally Pacific Resort) where they married in the cutest chapel and then we ventured the course by golf cart to find fountains and waterfalls! And to end off the evening I met them back at their reception at home, where they we snuck in a few shots of Robin with her horse ❤️

I’m truly honoured to capture Fee and Steff’s wedding this week. I’ve known Fee since Jr High. I followed her, Shelley (maid of honour as well) and many other friends around their sporting events, photographing it for the school year book. Who would think I’d make a career out of photography and 30 years later still be capturing these friends through life.

It was so wonderful to watch Fee and Steff find happiness with each other and build a life together. I couldn’t be more happy for them and wish them a lifetime of beautiful memories.

This one touches me since I’ve known some of these girls since they were just wee. And of course my own daughter is right there with them! Graduation day is this week but last night was prom and I was so happy to come see the girls all dressed up - some in their actual grad dresses and some donning another dress as they are waiting until Wednesday for the final reveal. Regardless they all looked stunning and so grown up!

This time of year for me is spent primarily photographing real estate, so it was quite the treat to spend an afternoon with these 3 and a close knit group of friends and family while they celebrated their vows. I’ve been quiet over the last little bit here so thought I’d share some of what I’ve been up to!

Real estate season is in full swing so I focus primarily on servicing my realtor clients with photography, matterport tours and floor plans (shout out to Kelsey who does the floor plan part).

I’ve also had some really cool jobs in the process… beautifully staged show homes by Integra Homes. A super bougie condo in Nanaimo, decked out in all black finishings! I’m currently processing images from Hairpins Salon after their remodel. And I’ve photographed some stunning homes that were contracted by Black Thumb Design with cabinetry crafted by Architype Millwork.

I can’t forget to include all the soccer teams (almost 100!) through Comox Valley United Soccer ⚽️ that I’ve photographed this spring and soon I’ll be headed to the baseball fields for team shots.

And let’s not forget grad. I’m so proud of my daughter graduating this year and venturing to Victoria this fall for Kinesiology. I’m also flattered to be chosen to photograph a few other grads soon - one of which is the daughter of an old high school friend.

But my most recent session I’m gushing over is this adorable litter of puppies ❤️ My cousin’s Golden Retriever had them Easter weekend and I’ve been making a point of going over and enjoying puppy time! I’ll tell you… doesn’t matter what else is going on in your life… just lay down and let the puppies smother you in love! And there are still a few available so if you’re looking I have a hook up 😆
