Our sweet and set apart day we dreamed about for years and years!!

I’ll never fully comprehend the gift of having all of our favorite people in one place, Hudson and I becoming one, and getting to see the joy and glory of the Lord woven through every part of our day!! Marriage has been an even greater gift than we could’ve ever dreamed of💌

Looking back on a poem I wrote after finishing the Bible for the first time when the resurrection felt raw and real to me in a new way :) Not just a story, but the fulfillment of every promise. This Easter I’ve been reflecting with gratitude. The story He’s been writing since the beginning was never random. It’s intentional, extravagant, still unfolding and one day, He will bring it all to completion !!

From Eden’s whisper of a seed,
To Abraham’s call, a covenant decreed.
Through David’s line, a promised King,
The prophets spoke of suffering.

A spotless Lamb, the sacrifice,
Foreshadowed love that paid the price,
In law and flame, the story grew,
A greater promise breaking through !!

Then on the cross, both grace and pain,
Where mercy fell like gentle rain.
The veil was torn, the debt erased,
And love stood fully face to face !!

But death could not hold heaven’s Son,
The grave was sealed, yet not for long.
The stone rolled back, the dawn broke through,
And every word proved firm and true !!

The risen Lamb now takes His throne,
All glory His, all praise His own,
As heaven cries and nations sing
Behold Jesus Christ, the risen King !!

And soon He’ll come, the sky will part,
To make all new, to mend each heart.
From first to last, one truth it brings,
Jesus Christ our King of Kings !! by @newms.shelbs

A hui hou to my sweet island home!
Lord thank you for some of the best seasons and memories made here that I will treasure up in my heart forever!
I’m so thankful for the gift it is to follow Him.
He is the true prize of every season.

Everywhere He took me this year His goodness and mercy followed me!!
This year the Lord taught me how to continually give Him my yes, how to respond in simple obedience, and take confidence knowing that He goes before me, besides me, and behind me. The adventures He took me on and people I met in the midst are a gift greater than I can comprehend!!
It is a privilege to know and follow Jesus,
May I never forget His love that has
never let me go.
