Minimalist spooky set! A bit of a vulnerable moment: My client wasn't sure what she wanted so we bounced ideas off eachother. We were all over the place trying to tie in a look and Ultimately we narrowed it down to a fall-ish set with 3D/hand molded tentacles to add some spooky to it. The colors we originally went with were dark (browns, green, and purple) and it wasn't coming out the way I had in mind; it made me question my own creativity and ability to have her leave happy from the appt. I pushed past those feelings, focused on getting the molding done (which I've never done tentacles before so that was fun to do!) and changed up some of the design to make sure the 3D art could stand out. Instead of staying frustrated, I got into problem solving mode and we got it done. This was the first time I really felt a challenge and had fun bringing these ideas to life 💕
