Thanks to everyone who joined the Second-Year reading at @alienatedmajestybooks last night! Everyone had such an amazing time. Our writers led us through a magnificently absurd array of narrative and experience that included (but was no means limited to) smelting, tetris, worms and seeds, swapping of ocular organs, leaves and oaks, and sharing of the everpresent word “because”. Thanks so much to everyone who joined the Third-Year Reading @alienatedmajestybooks last night! We were so happy to have a full house and so much support 🫶. Our writers dropped us into scenes of bodies, bodies with many legs, viewed through mirrors, constructed and moved into unbelonging places ranging from the home of a stranger to underneath the lights of an interrogation room, all tied together with Elegance. taken in Alienated Majesty Books by @newwritersprojectmfa
