The @mets bring the NLCS back home to @citifield tonight, and you already know the stadium is going to be ELECTRIC. Watching the Mets at Citi Field this season has been so much more than watching baseball. It’s hard to put into words, but if you’ve been a diehard fan as long as I have, you know exactly what I mean. It’s just pure magic.

If you know me, you know Opening Day is my favorite day of the year. My second favorite? Previewing what’s new at Citi Field for the upcoming season.

The 2026 food lineup is, as always, elite. Celebrity chefs Adam Richman, Judy Joo, Pat LaFrieda, and Kwame Onwuachi are all back in the stadium, joining a roster that includes 37 new menu items. Yes, seriously, 37!!

A few of my immediate scouting reports:

Chef Kwame’s Patty Palace: Still one of my absolute favorites. Try it. Trust me.

@PigBeachNYC: Do not sleep on the loaded cornbread. It’ll be one of the biggest hits of the season.

@eatinthecave: They had their food trucks at the block parties last season (and will again this year) but they’re also bringing their signature Puerto Rican empanadas inside the stadium for 2026

Taqueria Ramirez: The Brooklyn legends are serving up their famous tacos (like the Tacos de Nopales) in the Coca Cola corner.

Legacy Catering: Mets legend Mookie Wilson is officially in the building with a smoked pulled chicken slider that lived up to the hype.

Stay until the end for what might be the cutest dessert in baseball (Slide 14). Between the @mrmet Whoopie Pies, Dole Whip Apple Pie Nachos, and the Home Run Apple treats, the sweet tooth options are mandatory this year. 🍎⚾️

Oh, and the news we’ve actually been waiting for: there is finally a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese available in the stadium–perfect for those Sunday afternoon games.

There’s a new pizza joint in town 🔥
Luchini Italian just opened a few weeks ago at the Moxy Hotel in Chelsea, and they’re bringing some really delicious Sicilian style squares, Italian heroes, rainbow cookies, and thin crust pizza to the neighborhood.

I especially loved the vodka slice with prosciutto & calabrian chili!

GOOOOOOAAAAAAL! ⚽️ If you love all things World Cup and soccer, you need to head straight to the Goal Zone at @amnh!

It’s an interactive soccer playground where you can test your skills like kick speed, aim, reflexes, and more. Plus, they have the famous Madame Tussauds wax figures of Vinícius Jr. and Cristiano Ronaldo for the perfect photo op.

It’s the ultimate way for kids and adults alike to get hyped for the World Cup final this Sunday, but the exhibit actually runs all summer through September 13th!

Scenes from a wonderful evening overlooking Manhattan, celebrating the NYC launch of @australianbittersintl & Bittertales!

This launch is a pretty big deal because the bitters category has been dominated by the same legacy brands for forever.

Australian Bitters Company crafts everything in small batches using 100% natural botanicals, so they’re completely shaking up the scene with a fresh, modern perspective. They chose NYC as their very first US stop because, honestly, where else would you launch a line meant to influence global cocktail culture?

I tried a bunch of cocktails, all equally delicious, but the crowd favorite was the Seven Hills Sour, with its perfect balance of citrus and warm spice.

Always cool to see new brands making waves here. Keep an eye out for them at your local cocktail spots! 🍸🇦🇺

Moments from a truly delicious dinner in FiDi 🙌

Chef @marcuscooks is a culinary wizard, so it’s no surprise he’s done it again with @metropolisbymarcus. This restaurant is located in the Performing Arts Center, making it a great spot to join for dinner and catch the show, or just stay to watch the World Cup on their outdoor patio!

Here’s what we ate:
• Oysters served tableside with your choice of mignonette, sauces, and other accompaniments
• Cornbread with chili butter
• “Upper West Side” steak tartare with trout roe, bearnaise, and a tamari-cured egg
• “Express to Harlem” fried chicken
• Buffalo Milk Ricotta Gnudi with king crab
• Banana Pudding Cart, prepared and served tableside

Highly recommend visiting for dinner, drinks, or lunch asap!
