🚨 DREAMS DON’T HAPPEN ON DRAFT DAY. THEY’RE BUILT LONG BEFORE. 🚨

Congratulations to Dylan Marionneaux on being selected by the Chicago Cubs with the 126th overall pick in the 4th Round of the 2026 MLB Draft! ⚾️🐻

This past season, Dylan and I worked together through Next Play Sports with one goal:

Build Major League habits before becoming a Major Leaguer.

Every day was about intentional preparation, discipline, routines, and developing the mindset needed to perform at the highest level.

The results followed…

A Mid-Summer Update from Our Directors & Leadership Team

At HER Era Basketball Club, we believe great programs aren’t built overnight, they’re built one relationship, one practice, one family, and one decision at a time.

As we reach the halfway point of our inaugural season, we wanted to pause and simply say thank you to every player, parent, coach and supporter who has believed in this vision from the very beginning.

A few months ago, HER Era was just an idea.

Today, it’s becoming a movement.

As we continue preparing for the remainder of our summer schedule, we’re also looking ahead. Over the coming weeks, we’ll begin identifying a select number of student-athletes in the Classes of 2033, 2032 and 2031 to join us this fall and winter.

And to our athletes in the Classes of 2030, 2029 and 2028, we haven’t forgotten about you. Our expansion continues in Spring 2027 as we build opportunities for more players and families who align with what HER Era stands for.

Our mission has never been about building the biggest club.

It’s about building the right one.

We aren’t looking for quantity.
We’re looking for alignment.

Everything we do continues to be guided by the same three core values:

HER Era Basketball Club continued its incredible run at the Select Events Championships today with two dominant bracket-play victories.

🏆 Quarterfinals
HER Era 63 | Michigan Premier 39

🏆 Semifinals
HER Era 61 | Western PA Bruins (Black) 32

This group has continued to grow every single weekend. Their commitment to each other, their willingness to be coached, and their belief in playing for something bigger than themselves has put them one win away from a championship in Hamilton, Ohio.

Tomorrow morning, we’ll compete for the Select Events 8th Grade Championship against FBC United Kentucky, a team who has posted impressive 26, 28 and 24 point victories on their way to the Championship.

This will be another opportunity to show who we are.

This has always been about more than wins and losses.

March was the beginning.

A new team.
New players.
New coaches.
A new culture.

There were growing pains, hard lessons, and moments that tested us. But every practice, every film session, every tough loss, and every hard-fought win has helped shape who we’re becoming.

Now, three months later, this group looks nothing like it did in March.

They’re playing together.
They’re competing with confidence.
They’re trusting one another.
And they’re proving that growth isn’t measured by where you start, it’s measured by how committed you are to getting better every single day.

This weekend, we head to Select Events Nationals in Hamilton, Ohio with an opportunity to compete for a championship. We know the competition will be outstanding, but we’re excited for the challenge because we’ve earned the right to be here.

No matter what happens this weekend, we’re proud of how far these young women have come.

The work continues.
The standard remains.
The mission never changes.

A new name, but make no mistake — Her Era is here to stay. 💫🏀

This past weekend at @selecteventsbasketball , they showed exactly why people are starting to take notice. Competing with confidence, playing together, and making noise every time they stepped on the floor.

For a young program, the future is incredibly bright. The talent is there. The culture is there. The work ethic is there. Most importantly, they’re building something special.

Nothing was given. Everything was earned.

Flowers to the players, coaches, and families who are laying the foundation. Keep stacking days, keep trusting the process, and keep believing. The journey is just beginning, and the world is wide open in front of you.
