आँखें बंद थीं, पर खुली आँखों से देख रहा था,
रो तो सभी रहे थे, पर दुखी कोई नहीं था।

मर तो मैं सदियों पहले गया था,
यूँ तो मेरा शरीर पड़ा था।

छाती तो सभी पीट रहे थे ग़म दिखाने को,
पर सीने से लगाया किसने था?

पड़ी हुई लाश को अच्छा इंसान बताया जा रहा था,
जीते-जी जताया किसने था?

यूँ तो सब कह रहे थे क्यों छोड़कर चले गए,
जब पास था, तो अपनाया किसने था?

कहने को संसार एक परिवार है,
भेदभाव बताया किसने था?

सब निकलते हैं मोक्ष की तलाश में,
पुण्य कमाया किसने था?

साथ छोड़ जाते हैं बीच मझधार में अपने,
और कहते हैं मज़बूत बनाया किसने था?

यूँ तो प्रेम ढूँढने चला था मैं,
प्रेम होता क्या है, बताया किसने था?

कभी कहा गया था तुम बहुत ख़ास हो,
पर सच में ख़ास बनाया किसने था?

रुलाने वाले तो बहुत मिल गए,
हँसना सिखाया किसने था?

“तू जीत नहीं सकता कभी,” कहते थे लोग,
हौसला बढ़ाया किसने था?

जीवन छूट गई मेरे जीवनकाल से,
जीना सिखाया किसने था?

यूँ तो भीड़ में घिरा रहा हर पल,
पर तन्हा क्यों हूँ, पूछा किसने था?

हर कोई सलाह देने आ गया,
पर हाल पूछा किसने था?

गलतियों पर उँगली सबने उठाई,
सही रास्ता दिखाया किसने था?

ख़ामोशी को आदत कह दिया गया,
दर्द समझा किसने था?

गिरते रहे बार-बार सबके सामने,
हाथ पकड़कर उठाया किसने था?

वक़्त ने बहुत कुछ सिखा दिया,
पर वक़्त दिया किसने था?

खुद से लड़ते-लड़ते थक गया मैं,
साथ खड़े रहकर लड़ा किसने था?

सब कहते रहे — सब ठीक हो जाएगा,
पर कब और कैसे, यह बताया किसने था?

भीड़ मे चेहरा पहचान लिया गया,
अकेले में पहचाना किसने था?

दर्द जब आदत बन गया मेरी,
तो इलाज सोचा किसने था?

हर बार समझौता मुझसे ही कराया गया,
मेरे हिस्से का हक़ लौटाया किसने था?

टूटता रहा मैं हर रोज़ अंदर ही अंदर,
बिखरते देखा किसने था?

मौत को आसान कह दिया गया,
पर जीना कितना मुश्किल है,
यह समझा किसने था?

और आख़िर में

बस यही सवाल रह गया —
जब जीवन से मोह नहीं,
तो मृत्यु से मोह क्यों?
और अगर मृत्यु से मोह है…
तो अब तक जीवन क्यों?

[life is full of coincidence, surprises, dare, lie, truth, drama, strength, lose and many thing's that we cant think about whole thing at a time by sitting only we have to experience we have to go through every single thing sometime it gives happiness, sometime it gives lession, sometime disappointments
