Passion Project 🗽🩷📸

I recently found this book at Barnes & Noble, and started reading it there. Not even a few pages in, I just knew I would love this book and relate to the fmc. I started listening to the audiobook that same day and was drawn in!

I need this book tattooed on my heart because that's how much it gripped my entire being 😭 I could relate so much with Bennet on being an overthinker and navigating through life in general. And sweet sweet, Henry, my goodness he's a gentle soul and wears his heart on his sleeve 🥹 the push and pull and the love that these two have for each other, ugh, it had me hooked and at times, I just couldn't stop reading. I had to keep going. That's how much I LOVED this book! And chapter 30 had me crying enough, then I got up to chapter 34! FORGET IT!! I was sobbing, like tears falling down my cheeks and onto the pages 😭😭 this book is everything to me and I'll forever cherish it 🥹

It's Different This Time 🤎

Wow! What a book! that ending had me in tears 😭 are you kidding?! I am a sucker for the friends to lovers trope, then throw in "it's always been you" and you have my whole heart 🥹 the yearning and the tension had me 💓 and ugh, Adam?! this man knows how to love! and my girl, June 🥺 the way I related to her so much. Girl, I get it. Chapter 34 was everything! All of the emotions and declarations, ugghh! The besties weren't lying when they said I would fall in love with this book because I did! Of course, I loved the fall NYC setting 🍂 always a fave of mine. Another book added to the books I'll cherish forever 🙂‍↕️

Not in My Book 🩷

this is another book that I want tattooed on my heart 💓 the characters drew me in from the very start. Our girl Rosie loves and breathes romance. She's loved romance since she was a child watching novellas (spanish soap operas) with her abuelita (grandma) 🥹 Aiden had a rough childhood and hasn't experienced love which is why he doesn't know how to show it. Which is another reason why he despises romance. When he meets Rosie and sees how passionate she is about her romance novels, he immediately becomes captivated by her and wants to know more. When they're put on an assignment to write a romance book together, then bump heads at first, but soon they draw closer to each other until Aiden is falling for Rosie and learns how to love her and give her the love she yearns for from her books 💕

Rosie loves love, but is also afraid of it from her last heartbreak. She's hesistant to give Aiden a chance at first, until she finally opens up and gives him her all. I laughed, cried and put my book to my chest because I was purely in love with the characters and how they were yearning and falling for each other 🥹💓 I especially teared up at a part where Aiden buys a special gift for Rosie 😭 iykyk. And Aidens last chapters had be sobbing! The way this man finally learned how to love and express himself through his words and actions?! my goodness!! 😭💘 this book deserves more recognition! 👏🏼

Essentials ☕️✨️

Just a few of my weekend morning essentials 😌 today, I'll be preparing for yet another snowstorm we're getting in NYC 🥲 I'm over this, but I don't mind another snow day 😂 but first, my breakfast on the weekends includes coffee and my fave yogurt bowl 😋 Have the best weekend!

Thoughts 🩷📝

I've recently started writing in my reading journal, gratitude journal and planner more. I'm learning to write down my thoughts in my reading journal while I read, so that way I don't forget what I've read and how I felt while reading it because sometimes I'm forgetful 😅😂

I finally found the planner that's right for me because not only do I write down what I'm doing for the week/month, but I also write down my bible verse of the day, prayer and what I'm thankful for 🩷 I love it!

It's been refreshing to write in my gratitude journal because honestly, there are some days that are hard and it's good for me to take time to reflect on what matters most and my blessings.

I have a junk journal, but I haven't even started decorating it or doodling in it 😂 to be continued..

Monday vibes 🧸🙂‍↕️🤎

I'm in between a few books right now 😅 but what else is new right lol I'm currently in chapter 11 of my book club read, You Had Me At Hola. I'm enjoying this book because it mentions novellas (spanish soap operas) and it's based in NYC, which I love!

I'm in chapter two of Fossil Feud which is giving Jurassic Park vibes and I'm here for it because I've been a fan since I was a child 🦕

I'm also watching the new season of love is blind and I think this is the first season in a while where I'm rooting for a few couples 🥹 but we'll see right!

Pink Wednesday 🎀

Hey besties! I figured I'd return to booksta with a pink wednesday postie 🤗 January felt like a heavy month, so I had to take a step back and regroup. When life gets too much, please know it's okay to take a step back. Mental health comes first 🫂 one of my goals this year is to post with intention and not post just to put a post up.

I finally caught up on my comments 🩷 I have a few reviews to post of some five star reads I recently read. One of them being Not in My Book 🤭 I loved this book so much and will be posting my review soon.
