Mateusz Trebski. Hard-fought unanimous decision win. Finally back where he belongs. 🔥

✅ Massive reach disadvantage vs a much taller opponent — handled it beautifully 👀
✅ Started as a striker — fell in love with "dirty wrestling" along the way 🥋

Then finally the cage, the walkout, the fight — and Mateusz delivered pure fight IQ. Facing a massive reach disadvantage, he made a smart mid-fight call: forget the striking, make it messy, go wrestle. "It would have been ridiculous to strike with him." 🎯

He almost finished it twice. Even with the win, he's already talking about doing better. That's the standard elite fighters hold. 🧠

He heard every fan cheering and thanked his "brothers" in the crowd. ❤️

"ABSOLUTELY!" 🔥

That's how fast @genrick_ Cijntje answered when I asked if he could've gotten the finish. Didn't even let me finish the question. 😂💪

4th pro fight. Hard-fought unanimous decision. Complete skillset on full display. 🥊

Here's what went down:
✅ Unanimous decision win — HARD earned, not easy 💪
✅ Only his 4th fight — already showing a COMPLETE game 🎯
✅ Great striking, sharp footwork on the feet 👟
✅ "My opponent was tougher than expected" — but fought with conviction till the final bell 🧠
✅ "I was really confident in my grappling" 💪
✅ Genrick was actually the first to shoot — turns out it felt natural, wasn't the original plan 👀
✅ Plan was to counter the takedown — instinct took over instead 🔄
✅ "Could you have gotten the finish?" — "ABSOLUTELY!" 🔥
✅ Matched his opponent takedown for takedown — same number landed 🎯
✅ Round 3 slowdown — fatigue crept in, but he still defended himself with full confidence 🧠
✅ "I think I'm a well-rounded fighter, but obviously a lot more work to do" — ELITE mindset 🙏

Let's talk about the fight itself.

Genrick's striking and footwork were sharp from the opening bell. But the real story came when his opponent — a legitimate wrestler — started hunting takedowns. Most young fighters would panic there. Genrick didn't. He matched him takedown for takedown and looked completely at home doing it. 🥋

Then came the twist: I asked if stuffing that first takedown and ending up on top was the plan all along.

Turns out — no. The plan was actually to let his opponent shoot and counter from there. But once the fight started, Genrick just went with what felt natural and ended up initiating the exchanges himself. Instinct over script. 👀

Round 3 got tougher. Fatigue set in. But he kept defending himself with the same confidence he showed in round 1 — that's heart, and that's what elevates a good performance into a great one. 💪

And through all of it? Total respect for his opponent, total humility about his own game.

"I think I'm a well-rounded fighter, but obviously a lot more work to do."

That's the mindset that builds champions. 🙏

"I might go pro next." ⚡

@kharon_bersanov wanted to make that crystal clear after his win at @nextreme_mma #6. 🔥

Here’s what went down:
✅ Fight stopped very early in R1
✅ Opponent signalled to the ref he was hurt — ref stopped it 🛑
✅ The damage came from Kharon’s hard low kick, not a freak accident 🦵
✅ A lot of people (me included) were confused — he set the record straight 🧠
✅ Talked about a potential rematch… then dropped a bigger bomb 💣
✅ He might go PRO next 👀
✅ Says he’s ready even today – always on weight, always locked in 💪
✅ Realistically? Maybe September for that pro debut 📆

I told him it was a shame we didn’t get more of that fight — both guys have serious skill sets and I was really looking forward to seeing it play out. But Kharon wasn’t about to let the story be “unfortunate injury” and move on.

He made it simple:
The kick landed.
His opponent felt it.
He signalled to the referee.
The fight was stopped because of Kharon’s damage, not an unrelated injury. 🦵⚡

Then we talked about running it back.

Would he fight the same opponent again?

That’s when he dropped the announcement: he might go pro next. No hesitation when I asked if he’s ready either:

"Even today I'm ready." 💪

That’s who Kharon is — always ready, always willing to fight. When we tried to put a real date on it, he said maybe September for that jump.

So the question isn’t just “run it back or not?” anymore.
It’s: does Kharon Bersanov go pro this year? 👀
