Welcome to Next Step Psychiatry. Here’s what to expect during your Spravato treatment. When you arrive, our team will check your vital signs and make sure you’re comfortable. You’ll self-administer the nasal spray with our guidance—it’s quick and easy.

Afterward, you’ll relax in a comfortable chair for about two hours while we monitor you closely. Some people feel dizzy or disconnected at first—these effects are common and usually fade within an hour. We’ll be with you the entire time to ensure your safety.

Once you’re feeling steady and your vital signs are back to normal, you’ll be ready to head home with your pre-arranged ride. Remember, don’t drive for the rest of the day.
