Hurricane Idalia’s storm surge impact on Crystal River, Florida. 🌀

These photos were taken 1 hour and 45 minutes after reaching high tide meaning likely the extent of flood damage is probably more severe than shown.

Send your prayers to everyone affected by these radical storms they are beautiful works of nature but cause immense destruction. For some it’s a simple insurance claim for others it’s their family homestead or their farm and all of their animals, their way of life gone in a matter of minutes or hours for some shredded piece by piece from wind for others crushed by massive oak trees or washed away in the rising waters during catastrophic storm surges. Anyone experiencing the affects of hurricane Idalia needs your prayers. 🙏🏼🌀 taken in Crystal River, Florida by @ney.j_
