HOW TO LISTEN TO GOD | Part 2: His Word First

The clearest way God speaks is through what He has already spoken. 📖

Scripture isn't just information about God; it is His living voice to us today. Before you open your Bible, pray a simple prayer: "Lord, speak to me. I'm listening."

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." (Proverbs 3:5–6)

We don't have to figure everything out on our own. When we bring God into every decision, He directs our paths.

Challenge: memorise one verse this week. Scripture written on the tablet of your heart becomes the voice that steadies you when every other voice gets loud.

HOW TO LISTEN TO GOD | Part 1: Two-Way Conversation

Have you ever prayed like someone at the doctor's who lists every ache and pain, then leaves before the doctor says a word? 🩺

Prayer was never meant to be a monologue. Between the notifications, news feeds, opinions and our own fears, there are countless voices competing for our attention. But Jesus says, "My sheep hear My voice" (John 10:27).

Try something different: when you pray, leave space. Sit still. Keep a notebook close and write down what comes to mind as you wait on Him, then test it against Scripture.

The God who hears you is also the God who speaks to you.
