This is a bit of a hard post for me. Drinking one of the last of my favorites, Juicy Mchazy from OBC. I started volunteering with them almost 10 years ago. I was just really getting into craft beer, and they were a new company looking for volunteers. Little did I know, this would open up a whole new world to me. I learned so much from Yann and Celia, who have been so generous to me over these years. I also made some great friends and attended really fun events. I gained confidence and beer knowledge.
I will be forever grateful to OBC for everything they have done for me. Thanks for everything. by @neysalovesbeer

I am very proud of myself. Had to replace the stringers on our deck stairs. (Ultimately, the whole deck needs to be redone, but that will be for another time.) I took a spill and got a nice big bruise, pictured above a week after. The stringers are longer than the steps we have, but it will do for now. by @neysalovesbeer

Another Toronto weekend has come to an end. On my way home. Usual stop at @redtapebrewery but also checked out @beachesbrewco and two new to me breweries, @mascotbrewery and @blacklabbeer . Also got to have some yummy ramen. And spend some time with furry friends too, Viola and Sebastian, and we'll as Fanny, the tripod doggo. taken in Toronto, Ontario by @neysalovesbeer

My 4th brewery in New Brunswick did not disappoint. I had 2 flights and really enjoyed the majority, in particular, the coffee lager. I spoke to the brewer, Ben and he confirmed my thoughts about NB beers; the market is still maturing, so beets seems to have a sweetness to them that is not something I'm used to back home. He was also was kind enough to let me try their maple beer from their bright tank. I would definitely recommend Cavok Brewing if you are in the Moncton area. by @neysalovesbeer

Well, it's been a week. Here is some of the progress. One broken chainsaw later. Our neighbour will be taking some of the wood, so he did a huge chunk too. We will take care of the fallen ones then we figure out what to do with the rest. Some are standing, but have so many broken branches. Our one maple tree is still standing strong at least.

This is the aftermath. Lost a ton of trees. Had cut one down that was threatening to fall on the neighbour's shed. It's sad to see so much damage. The only casualty was Chad's trailer. We will start tackling the mess tomorrow. Today, we mourned. We are thankful the house was spared.

Here they are, my boys. Top to bottom, Rocky, Garrett and Bailey. I am more than thrilled with the results. I was lucky enough to be tattooed by Sarah, owner of @astraltigerstudio who has the patience of a saint! I say this because, as it turns out, I twitch like a mother f*cker! The tattooing itself was pretty painful, but it was the twitching that made it so hard and meant I had to break the tattoo into 4 sessions.
I highly recommend Sarah if you are looking for a pet portrait. She specializes in black scale, but you may notice the coloured eyes on my boys, really bringing them to life.

I went to Toronto this weekend for an off flavour course at @littlebeastsbrewco . While there @emilika23 and I took the opportunity to fan girl over Erin, the brewer and owner of Little Beasts and got her to sign our copy of @chatelainemag. I wanted to stop in to see Sarabeth, co-owner/brewer at @redtapebrewery but I had to catch my train home. Luckily, Emily was able to catch her later today and had her sign out magazines too! Now I need to run into @beer_diversity somehow and make a trip out to Nova Scotia to find Rozina Darvesh, co-owner of North Brewing company. @northbrewing Lol.
