Más allá de unirme al National Shutdown, quiero resaltar algunas de mis marcas latinas favoritas. No es fácil ser emprendedor, y mucho menos en un país donde constantemente intentan hacerte sentir como menos. Estas marcas no solo crean productos de alta calidad (muchas de ellas sustentables) sino que también integran ingredientes y rituales heredados de nuestros abuelos y ancestros.

Las marcas latinas van más allá de la representación: son resistencia, comunidad y legado. Apoyarlas es una forma de honrar nuestras raíces y recordarnos que nuestra cultura no solo existe, sino que florece. Este es un llamado para conocer, guardar y amplificar.

Beyond participating in the National Shutdown, I want to highlight some of my favorite Latinx-owned brands. Being an entrepreneur is not easy, especially in a country where you’re often made to feel less than. These brands don’t just create high-quality products (many of them sustainable) they also incorporate ingredients, and rituals knowledge passed down through generations.

Latinx brands go beyond representation: they are resistance, community, and legacy. Supporting them is a way to honor our roots and remind ourselves that our culture doesn’t just exist but it thrives. This is a call to discover, save, and amplify.
