Jason Evangelista and Jeff Travis stopped by @tribebjj_atl lunch class to pick up the donation check from the NFC JJ Guns vs Hoses event. The firemen chose Metro Atlanta Firefighters Conference as their charity. Congrats again to the Firemen and to everyone who made the event possible. by @nfcjiujitsu

NFC JJ is offering one scholarship to each Jiu-jitsu academy. The scholarship is good for one free entry into Boo JJ on October 25.

https://smoothcomp.com/en/event/32428

In order to receive the scholarship, the owner of the academy must post the Boo JJ flyer (2nd slide) on the teams IG, then DM us the name of the student they want to award the scholarship to.

Great opportunity for the Academy to award a student for their dedication or give a less fortunate student a chance to compete.

Please share this with all the JJ academies... by @nfcjiujitsu

I have been having shoulder issues for several years now. It got to the point where I couldn't roll, lift, or even scratch my head without a lot of pain. I finally broke down and called Brad with @barbourortho. He worked me in with in a few days, gave me a shot of PRP, and scheduled a follow-up with Dr. Barber to discuss a more permanent solution. I had forgot what it felt like to be without pain in my shoulder. If you are having any issues don't wait. Hit them up and they will take good care of you... by @nfcjiujitsu

Per request here’s the last round of the match. I knew he was tired from the last round. Early I feinted a shot (knowing damn well I wasn’t gonna) but I got a reaction and noted that. I just wanted to hand fight and put pressure on him. I whiffed a couple arm drags too😅. Eventually I collar tied him and gave a small feint at another shot. I got the reaction I wanted and I hit the guard pullers version of a snap down. My goal from there was just to rack up points and keep him on his back. He also completely manhandled his way out of a kimura attempt. It wasn’t pretty but my goal was to just come out unscathed. #bjj #jiujitsu #fyp #nfcbjj #gunsvshoses by @nfcjiujitsu

This weekend I had the opportunity to compete and bring home a victory for a good cause at @nfcjiujitsu “Guns & Hoses” event, commemorating the 25th anniversary of 9/11.

Proud to represent @alpharettafiredepartment and @telarijiujitsu .

Huge thank you to @brunofrazattojj , @themoosejj and @aenriquez218 for preparing me and cornering me. You guys are world class, and I’m grateful to have you in my corner.

And for the record… Fire won 24–8, but who’s counting? Domination. 📸 @zoescreatives by @nfcjiujitsu
