My debut zine, ‘Base Year Index’ to be out soon.

This is a body of work that I have been working on for the last few months, which started as an impromptu photographic exercise. The resulting zine is a visual enquiry of my ‘sight’ - it is an exploration made to observe and realise the things that catch my eye. This practice has resulted in a set of images that dissect the punctum of my gaze.

The work is presented as a documentation of my daily life which explores the underlying psyche of emotions such as grief, anxiety, longing, fear & beauty.

I am incredibly grateful to have found @s0ham.j to be my guide and curator for this very crucial project. by @nfilms17

A handful of sorrow & a heart full of blood.

The anatomy of a life of pain. by @nfilms17

One past midnight & about time for weary old self to retire.

Are we so chronically online and under heft that even dropping a single text message requires immense bandwidth ?

Is the world so chronically online that being present for a subordinate requires capital ?

Our are life’s so inconsequential that mere fellow human presence has become a luxury.

Everybody is dying, the times are marching, and realities are collapsing. Every ache and illness is craving for a cure - maybe your presence is the only solace. by @nfilms17

Urban Diaspora by @nfilms17

Fever of tears & sorrows of joy, in a world so hardened by might, yet so unbothered by beauty.

An evil eye bewitched by the charm and striking glaze of his reflection.

Time oscillates and you stay still. Your tools change but you still dig the grave.

The dilemmas of extending your feet outside reality— to weave a dream of memories, quiet and poignant; Or violent and radical. by @nfilms17
