Happy thanksgiving Canada!

You cannot walk in true joy without walking in thanksgiving. Gratitude opens the heart to God and creates the atmosphere where joy thrives. Thanksgiving keeps your eyes on what God has done, not what life is trying to do.

“With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.” (Isaiah 12:3). Joy is drawn, not manufactured — and gratitude keeps the well open.

“Enter His gates with thanksgiving.” (Psalm 100:4). Gratitude is how you access God.

“Rejoice always… give thanks in everything.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16–18). Joy and thanksgiving move together. by @ngo_zikaa

Happy new month everyone by @ngo_zikaa

Dear Lord, thank you for the gift of September. As September becomes October, let every mockery become a testimony. Let every whispered doubt become proof that you are on our side. Stand with us, go before us, and please do not let us fail.
In Jesus name.
Amen. by @ngo_zikaa

Am I saying you shouldn’t put in effort? Not at all.
What I’m saying is this: even with all our effort, it is still God’s mercy that prevails.

Scripture references

Romans 9:16 “So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.”

Lamentations 3:22–23 “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed… They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” by @ngo_zikaa
