WE MADE HISTORY IN SALT LAKE CITY! 🏆

What an incredible week for our New Hope High School JAG chapter at the National Career Development Conference!

This year, we made history. Not only did we set a new school record for the number of students qualifying for Nationals, but we also shattered our previous records for national awards and recognitions.

Our National Standings:
• 🥇 National Champions: LOVE Project
• ✨ Top 5 National Finish: Creative Decision Making & Knowledge Bowl
• 💼 Top 10 National Finish: Career Preparation
• 🏅 National Finalists: Outstanding Chapter
• 🗳️ National Secretary Campaign Finalist: Lily Morrow

We represented New Hope with professionalism, leadership, and determination on the national stage. From high-stakes presentations to teamwork competitions, we proved that hard work truly pays off.

Thank you to everyone who supported us throughout the year—our school administration, community sponsors, legislators, and supporters who helped make this opportunity possible. This group made history, and we’ve left a legacy that future New Hope JAG students will strive to follow! @nationaljag @jagnational @alabamajag @alabamactso #jag #ctso #nationals #saltlakecity #ncdc2026 taken in Grand America Hotel by @nhhsjag

Happy Valentine’s day from our JAG chapter to yours!💗💐The JAGCA National Service Projects purpose is to inform people on unhoused individuals. Our JAG Chapter decided to decorate cards for those individuals, aiming to bring warmth to the community and bridge the gap between awareness and empathy. #spreadlove #jag #ctso @nationaljag @alabamajag @alabamactso taken in New Hope High School (New Hope, Alabama) by @nhhsjag

Do you have gently used formal wear looking for a new home? Help our NHHS JAG chapter support our local elementary students! We need everything from princess dresses to ties and button-ups.
Check the flyer for details and make sure to drop off your items at the High School by February 18th. Every donation helps make this night a “fairytale” for a local student! taken in New Hope High School (New Hope, Alabama) by @nhhsjag

What a week for New Hope High School JAG! 🌟 We went all-in for #JAGCAWeek, growing as leaders, creators, and community members. Here’s a look at our journey:

Monday: Kicked things off (even on a day off!) by tuning into a National Zoom with the JAG National Officers. Networking never stops! 💻

Tuesday: Focused on the “Inner Game” with Mindfulness Day. Color therapy helped our competitors lock in their goals. 🧘‍♂️🎨

Wednesday: Fast-forwarding to 2036! For Career Day, we used AI to visualize our future selves and presented our career paths to the class. 🤖🚀

Thursday: Communication is key! We tackled a blindfolded drawing challenge to level up our coaching and teamwork skills. ✍️🙈

Friday: Wrapping up with a heart for service. We spent the day learning about the unhoused and brainstorming ways to improve our own school community. 🤝❤️

So proud of the growth and heart these students showed this week! @jag.national @alabamajag @alabamactso by @nhhsjag

Merry Christmas from our JAG chapter! This year’s Christmas party was full of fun, food, and competition!

We started the day with breakfast and a fun icebreaker involving reindeer names to get everyone in the holiday spirit. The morning continued with individual competitions alongside team gingerbread house building, allowing everyone to showcase their skills both independently and collaboratively. After individual presentations, we took a short snack break to recharge. The afternoon featured group competitions and voting on gingerbread houses, followed by team presentations that highlighted each group’s creativity and effort. We concluded with lunch and a holiday movie, wrapping up the event with festive cheer.

We can’t wait for next year!🎄🎁 taken in New Hope High School (New Hope, Alabama) by @nhhsjag
