Một dự án lịch t làm hơn nửa năm trc =)))))))
I had so much fun collab w all the creative forces in @rimixso.hn in a traditional Vietnamese medium focus pj :Đ

Tháng 4 thì t lấy cảm hứng từ thứ t thân thuộc nhất - Vàng Mã, và thứ t muốn thử tự tay làm là Lọng Bướm. Tự Design ra một mẫu lọng cũng hay phết :D thật sự bh t cũng muốn tự tay in rồi làm thử ra một cái lọng xem có dc k uwu tháng này t ngồi debate mãi nên chọn màu vàng hay màu hồng vì màu t dc assigned là màu vàng, nma nó là tháng 4 í, là tháng của t íiii, nên t muốn để màu hồng, but i settle for a pink hose and that's already better ✌️😗

Real talk tho if i dje just burn 1 single stack of this print for me i dont need much, as much as i love vn worshiping tradition, the excessive burning of dead money is so bad for the LIVING environment 🥹 just burn me a debit card yall. Srsl the art of making paper material possession is cool, but yall dont need to be burn a 1:2 model of a car or apartment complex yall by @nhoongmeep

I had a hard time to decide what version i like better with this one, there's áo bà ba và khăn rằn and there's áo ngũ thân tay chẽn/ áo dài chít eo và nón cụ. (i already dont really like áo dài chít eo altho it's such an interesting silohutte(?), but the origin of the curent torture device for highschool girls is out of the question for me lol. Personally i like áo ngũ thân và nón cụ bc it's such an elegant option, kiểu effortlessly commanding and khí chất í, bản thân nón cụ cũng rất hay, và if it can bring attention to this lost art would be really cool. Nhưng mà rõ ràng là áo bà ba và khăn rằn nó rõ miền nam hơn, cả về lịch sử lẫn tính cách, and áo ba ba can definitely be charming and be so fucking badass as history has proven with các bà mẹ việt nam anh hùng. Áo bà ba, áo cánh and quần suông (?) ~istg có từ specific cho cái quần này mà t quên r~ it just depends on how a character projecting their energy, and it was a fun challenge to make an outfit that is so often connects to all the gentle caring qualities look more menacing :D damn i just love áo bà ba quần xuông man, they reminds me of my grannies and her clothes ;w;

anw this was a really fun pj for me, both Mã Diện in general and this 3 pieces specifically BC I COULD DO SO MUCH RESEARCH ON VNMESE CULTURE AND ATTIRE by @nhoongmeep

i really had fun with this piece tho lol =))))))))))) i have to research a lot of vietnammese pattern, what context to use them and what combination of color means what. thậc ra thì từ đầu t vẫn muốn nó màu xanh vì if you havent already noticed i assigned color for mỗi miền :Đ miền bắc màu hồng vì hoa đào, miền trung màu xanh vì cây nêu, màu vàng miền nam vì hoa mai :Đ dều là thực vật đặc trưng cho mỗi miền.

anw, lý do tại sao t chọn áo tấc và nhật bình cho miền trung vì Cố đô Huế là thủ phủ của Đàng Trong dưới thời các chúa Nguyễn từ năm 1687 đến 1774, và như ở post trc thì chúa Nguyễn Phúc Khoát là người muốn "cải cách trang phục" để phân biệt Đàng Trong Đàng Ngoài bằng cách mặc áo ngũ thân thay vì tứ thân. Cũng tương tự như áo tứ thân có 4 tà, áo ngũ thân có 5 tà tượng trưng cho 5 phẩm hạnh của con người, tứ thân phụ mẫu, thêm một tà con ở trong tượng trưng cho người con, 5 nút áo tượng trưng ngũ thường (nhân, lễ, nghĩa, trí, tín). (if youre asking me that's a lot of nho giáo preaching but hey a fire design is a fire design :Đ bro should have open huế fashion school or sth) Anw Nhật Bình thì căn bản là áo đối khâm, có họa tiết trước ngực hình chữ nhật, cài vào với dây và phượng ổ( ê dạo này t lại thấy drama về phượng ổ và tàu cn lại claim là hoa văn cn but what's news yk🙄cdg cn chả nhận về nhà cn, t cũng lười đ muốn cãi) ăn, ncl NB là dạng áo lễ, nen cũng có nhiều quy chuẩn về màu asigned cho từng bậc cấp, it's really fascinating if you read into it.

genuinely dunno what to write here so im just gonna rant about áo tứ thân.
so you probaly all know áo tứ thân là áo gồm 4 tà, 2 tà trước 2 tà sau tượng trưng cho tứ thân phụ mẫu ((((về sau chúa Nguyễn Phúc Khoát(?)ᶠᵃᶜᵗ ᶜʰᵉᶜᵏ ᵐᵉ ᶦᶠ ᶦᵐ ʷʳᵒⁿᵍ muốn phân biệt đàng trong đang ngoài nên làm ra áo ngũ thân))) but did you know ☝️🤓 áo tứ thân là hậu thân của áo đối khâm, vì người ta cần thích ứng công việc đồng áng tay chân nhiều nên buộc hai vạt trước với nhau để dễ di chuyển hơn. ncl nó cũng có nhiều variation và cách mặc phụ thuộc vào mục đích, kiểu đi hội hay các thứ họ sẽ thít thêm dây lưng, mặc với váy đụp hoặc quần đĩnh. ở trong thì mặc với yếm, kín nữa thì mặc thêm áo cánh bên trong :D

Trộm vía lần đầu tiên t có đủ content đăng từ đêm 30 đến rằm mà cuối cùng con sâu rượu nó quật tôi bh mới ngóc đầu lên để đăng được hihi

Cũm honk biếc nói gì nhiều, nhưng mà dự án zine đầu tay mà t chăm chút con nó cũng kĩ, cũng tâm huyết trộm vía làm từ mascot design đến layout design đến illustration nên t tự hào nhắm. Nhưng mà vui nhất là vì dự án này mà t được gặp và biết thêm rất nhiều artist trong cộng đồng nên tui vui nhắm ỤwU bonding in the community has never been better uwu

Cúng Giao Thừa chưa cả nhàaaa UwU🌸

Dù khâu chuẩn bị có vất vả cầu kì như thế nào, có lẽ cúng Giao Thừa là khoảnh khắc mình trông chờ nhất trong Tết. Những ngày trước đêm 30, gia đình mình người thì chạy đồn chạy đáo mua vàng mã, hoa quả, bánh chưng, người thì đi cả vườn đào không chọn được một cành mang về cắm, rồi lại đó xôi luộc gà, cuốn nem... Một mâm cổ Giao Thừa mà cả nhà sốt sắng lên để chuẩn bị, nhưng càng gần tới khoảnh khắc giao thừa, mọi việc lại dần lắng xuống. Rồi khoảnh khắc Giao Thừa cũng đến, mồm mẩm đọc lời khấn, tâm mình lại bồi hồi vừa nuối tiếc con người mình năm cũ, vừa háo hức chờ mong năm mới với những khởi đầu và thách thức mới. Tiếng pháo hoa vang trời, từng nhịp phảo dội là từng vận đen đủi năm cũ xua đi, lấy chỗ cho những điều tốt đẹp đến với mình trong năm mới.

On the last day of PRIDE, God said let there be light, and thus, I was born 💅✨🦄

I'm blessing this sad ass Month of Pride with one last gift, and it's my very late graduation photos 😃🔫 hopefully my godly presence will lift up the mood ya, this is the most depressing pride ive ever been thru and i've come out for like a decade now 😭

Here comes the sappy part, brace yourself im getting vulnerable
I was planning for sooooooo long for the graduation ceremony, i have ideas ever since i stepped foot in the giảng đường đại học n shit yall. Like i know it's gonna be horses and it's gonna be pink and i was so sure im voguing down the isle and death drop on the stage. And than Lord Chappell Roan really deliver the most iconic and relatable song for me and inspire me so much to based my graduation on. Your pink pony girl is dancing on the stage getting her degree and having fun 😭 im not good w words and music analyzing stuff but like it feels so close to my heart and my artistry, and what would be better end my academic journey and kick start my career í. I hold the song really close to my heart like HOURS of listening and crying to the song thinking im not gonna make it 😭
Now, talking abt ✨extravaganza✨, most of the shit i wear was design by me and i went all around Hà Nội to get it customize and prep. Normally id definitely prefer dress/gown anyday, but like i said, it's to kickstart my career and what not so i choose a 3 piece suit for that business-career-woman-who-dont-need-no-man, i designed it and sended it over to my lovely neighbor who is a brilliant tailor, how she can make that w a huge ass bow sitting snuggly on my huge ass in less than a week is beyond me. Then the nails literally is cooked to perfection by @jui_nailbox , they delivered everytime and i swear all my designs r so oái oăm khùm khoằm í. i even have my name on it 😭 it's so so cute. BEST PART is my hat, bc i gotta draw, embroidered my iconic Pink Pony Grad and hand stitch all the beads and charm into somewhat cowboy hat (thateveryonesaiditloollikeHoangChauCachCach)😭
