NHSF had a pretty successful weekend down the coast at the Pacific Hwy Cup presented by @avocaboardriders winning our way through to the semi finals, missing out on the final by 0.06 🥹🥹. The team was strong and hard to beat, with standout @mia.macmahon dropping high scores all day getting us back in the game. The team was so consistent and just came down to luck towards to the end. We are ready and training up for our next tag team for the ABB Qualifier in North Narra next month!! Well done NHSF!!!

Comp #3 of the year was an absolute ripper! The waves delivered some serious stoke, and the surfing was next level. A huge shoutout to all the competitors who charged hard and put on an incredible show. The energy was electric, and the good vibes were flowing all day long. Massive thanks everyone for making it all happen. Bring on the next one! 🤙🤙

The NSW Junior Regional Series supported by @rivvia.projects continued up and down the coast this weekend, with the Central Coast and Mid North Coast wrapping up their events and locking in a fresh group of regional champions.

At Soldiers Beach, the day began with clean conditions before winds picked up through the afternoon, but it didn’t stop a full schedule of competition. Andy Blanchfield set the standard in the U16 Boys with an 8.5 in the final, while Clive Morriss delivered one of the standout waves of the day to take out the U14 Boys. Division wins also went to Frankie, Ivy, Olive, Alanni and Ruben.

Further north, Port Macquarie’s Town Beach served up a more challenging canvas, with shifting peaks and tricky conditions testing the field. Despite it, the event ran through all divisions, with the region’s juniors adapting well and finding opportunities where they could. Regional titles went to Joey, Avalon, Omar, Aliyah, River, Coco, Austin and Eva.

Another two regions locked in as the pathway toward State Titles continues to build.

Special thanks to our Regional Directors Scott Lawrence & Sandra English for delivering another solid weekend of competition for the region’s juniors.

Wildcard entries for the State Classic are now open.

NHSF had the privilege of hosting the Central Coast Regionals Titles! 🤙 Epic waves and incredible surfing were on display all day, with state spots secured. Norah Head Surfing Fraternity’s 2nd comp of the year delivered 🙌 Clean 2–3ft peaks with offshore winds all day made for unreal conditions. Everyone was absolutely ripping, with some big wins across all divisions 🔥 Can’t wait for the next one — see you all there 🤙

Highlight of the day was 5-year old Freddy Johnson taking out the @beachin.surf Under 10s in his first board riders. Charging big sets out the back all day! 👏

When Troy Gould walked off the beach after winning the @madhousebeefjerky Masters final with a huge smile on his face, looking exhausted, then told us "between heats he was trekking back home to do some landscaping", you can see it was a long day...
