Valentine’s Day / Love Story🔆💕💛

Here’s some of our story:

How’d y’all meet? Coming out of a History Class at Southern University A&M College BR!😁
He said I was sleeping in class🙄
I was🤫😂😂😂

First Date: Ruby Tuesdays

How long have you been together? 22years

Married: 18years

Age difference: 3months

Who's Older: Me

Who was interested first: We locked eyes coming out of history class...it was mutual! He asked for my number at a spoken word event on campus!

Who is taller: Him

Who said I love you first: He did!

Most impatient: Both of us if it’s foolishness!😤

Most sensitive: Me

Loudest: Both of us LOL!😂 I’m loud at home🤣

Most stubborn: It can go both ways 🙄😂

Falls asleep first: Me, I can sleep anywhere😂

Cooks better: Me.

Better morning person: It use to be Him‼️😂
It might be a tie now😂🤣😅

Better driver: I guess him but I think me🤣😩🙄

Most competitive: Both!

Funniest: Both!

Who is more social: We are both Introvert/Extrovert😁He likes to only hang with me pretty much🤍

Where was your first kiss: Outside of our college dorm!

Who initiated your first kiss? Him

Do you get flowers often? Every Holiday🌿

How long did it take to get serious? A week👀

Who picks where you go to dinner? Me

Who is the first one to admit when they’re wrong? Him…he is quick to forgive.🙏🏾

Who wears the pants in the relationship? Him, but we have respect for one another’s opinions, thoughts, and spirituality.

Who has more tattoos? He does

Who sings better? Chile, we both can hold a tune!

Hogs the remote? Neither, it’s music for us!

Where is the furthest you two have traveled together? Somewhere In Texas😂

Who drives when you are together? He does! But I be driving from the passenger seat🤣😂😂

🖌Y’all yesterday I had a wack natural hair day before a event I was about to faint😑🙄😂😂😂

🔆I thought my plaits was dry so I could stretch my hair and my curls and fro shrunk up like a prune!😆🤣

🍃But I sucked it up butter cup and worked for the lawd!!!😅😹

💚✨Good morning!

I feel led by the Lord to encourage every Prophet, Seer, Dreamer, and Believer to stay focused on what God has called you to for the remainder of the year. Distraction is a Warfare Tactic that the enemy uses to strike your spirit, mind, body, and soul. Distractions may come through: social media, people, fear, unresolved issues, comfort, unforgiveness, busyness, doubt, and sin.

I can hear God saying stay focused, Stay in the Word of God, and keep your eyes on God!

Keep your eyes on the assignment that is before you. Say no to things that will cause you to be busy but not fulfilled in Christ. Silence every voice that’s conflicting and will muddy the word of God in your life. A Lot of things enter our minds and affect our hearts. Not everything deserves access to your mind. (Proverbs 4:23) “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

Replace negative thoughts by washing the word of God. Don’t allow social media, people, fear, unresolved issues, comfort, unforgiveness, busyness, doubt, and sin to simply rule over mind and spirit. Keep your mind renewed & refreshed God has a need for you! (Romans 12:2)
“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

Identify what’s pulling you away from God.
Set boundaries with those things.
Get back in the word of God and prayer.
Protect eyes.
Guard what you give attention to.

Stay Focussed!

You are absolutely loving, anointed, and joy to work for the Kingdom of God. I felt Gods presence strongly in the room, before entering the room, and throughout this beautiful event! Let your Faith Flourish this month! It’s the will of God concerning you! The word of God declares:

Psalm 92:12–15🌴🌿🌱🌳🍃
“The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”

Flourish & bear good fruit! God is going to continue to keep you, undergird you, and do his part! You just have do your part! You continue to walk in FAITH, Speak FAITH, and take actions by FAITH!

Whatever you have been commissioned to do by God you will be fruitful! Abide in the Father, stay connected to the vine, and watch yourself FLOURISH like a palm tree & grow as the cedar trees in Lebanon! 🌴🌿🌱🌳🍃
