Unintentional City captures the city’s overlooked spaces in oil, places found in the course of daily life that stop the artist in her tracks. Drawing on a background in architecture, Parker focuses on moments where light, season, and time converge: a snow-covered street, vines consuming a wall, dappled shadow on a fence. 🎨🏙️

The Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre is deeply saddened by the passing of Donald Lloyd Combe, UE, on October 17, 2026, at the age of 95.

Donald was a founding member of the Pumphouse, a life member, and served for many years on our Board. His love of the arts, history and storytelling helped shape this community, and his generosity will be remembered by all who knew him.

Our heartfelt condolences go to his sister Winnifred (“Bea”), his niece Vanessa, his nephew Merritt, and all his family and friends.

A Memorial Service celebrating Donald’s life will be held on Saturday, October 31 at 11 am at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, 41 Byron Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake.
In his memory, Donald asked that we all move forward being “just that extra bit kinder to everyone you meet.”
