Know your worth 🥰

Most of us find our sense of self-worth from a combination of our looks, accomplishments, careers, possessions, and social status. But this is precarious because if we age or become ill, if our next performance doesn’t exceed our last, if we lose our job or retire, if we meet with ill fortune and our assets disappear, or if our friends are shallow and fickle, we also lose our sense of worthiness. The more secure and lasting place to find worth is in our relationship with God. In fact, developing a higher view of God’s ultimate worthiness leads to a clearer view of our own. Since he created us, and knew us intimately before we were born, and loved us enough to rescue us from eternal punishment for our sins through Jesus’ death and resurrection, we know we have tremendous value and worth in God’s eyes. Because of the magnitude of God’s forgiveness, and his grace and love for us, he is also worthy of our praise, gratitude and love in return. 🙌🏽🙏🏽✝️=❤️

When I don’t want to do it anymore, I had to remember that Self-respect is the root of discipline. Where is my self respect and love to take care of my body and health?!
