Eight years 🥹 I started in my dad’s kitchen thinking I’d only sell a handful. I made the first 70ish units by hand and they sold out in two weeks. By the end of year one, I was hand making and selling out of 1,000 bottles of my hair growth serums every month.
•
To date, I’ve ended up shipping to 6 continents. Everywhere except Antarctica. 66 countries. More than 1,000 cities. Over 25,000 customers have been served. Almost every single bottle handmade by me (when I didn’t have interns to help out) with a bulk of these orders getting a handwritten note from me, the founder and CEO.
•
I’ve seen this little kitchen dream reach postpartum moms losing their hair, people navigating chemo and radiation, and men dealing with male pattern baldness. I’ve read more reviews than I can count of edges filling in, bald spots filling in, hairlines thickening, and confidence returning.
•
This formula was made with natural and organic ingredients and powered by active ingredients like organic rosemary essential oil for hair growth and hair density. Clean ingredients and real results have always mattered to me.
•
It wasn’t always easy. During COVID it took six months to source ingredients just to be able to create and keep up with orders. There were years of selling out, growing fast, figuring it out alone, and learning how to run a business I never expected to scale. And there were slow years that forced me to pause and question my abilities as a small, handmade founder.
•
To everyone who has ever bought from Nia Hope & Co., referred, reviewed, gifted, shared, or cheered for me and my products, thank you. I am grateful for every single order. Thank you for being part of my eight year journey and for supporting a business built with intention, integrity, and heart.

LEGIT CANNOT CONTAIN MY EXCITEMENT!! 😩😃 I grew up going to the salon + flipping through Sophisticates Black Hair Magazine during every visit. This is THEE Black Hairstyle Magazine, y’all. Before we scrolled through Instagram, Pinterest, + Google for hairstyle inspo, this is what we used. Never in one million years did I imagine they would ask me if they could feature me in their magazine. But they did. And now I’m in their Dec/Jan 2018 issue under the “Trend Watch” section on p. 12 [on sale now]!! The icing on the cake is that my 9 year old son took this picture of me. So, naturally, he’s beyond proud of himself for having his work published and I am, too. 💞 Thank you @sophisticatesblackhairstyles!! #Grateful #AllGod .

DIY TRICK-OR-TREAT BAGS 🎃✨

very much so obsessed with making these trick-or-treat bags for mila!

this is my second year making her a custom, one of one bag to match her halloween outfit + she has been loving it just as much as i have.

last year, the hei hei bag i handmade to compliment her moana costume stole the show! what’s even better? she has been playing with it throughout the past year + it’s held up through rough toddler play 😅

so, i didn’t hesitate making her another one this year knowing the couple of hours i spent hot glueing the bags together quite literally prove to stand the test of time! the icing on the cake? making this rose trick-or-treat bag to go with her belle costume only cost $15 with materials from @hobbylobby!

would you try this? 👀🎃✨

POV: you get invited to have brunch with the youngest lieutenant governor in the entire country. 👀

i had the opportunity to sit down with Lt. Gov. Austin Davis (@AustinDavisPA) alongside a room full of philly creators for a conversation about pennsylvania, leadership, + the issues that matter to our communities.

good food, great conversation, + definitely a few answers to questions that have me a lot to think about.

grateful to have had a seat at the table. 🤎

philly, a new bombshell has entered the villa.

this isn’t your average sports bar. only at @avarooftopbarphilly will you find caviar-topped martinis, lobster rolls, wagyu meatballs, + the most delicious edamame hummus.

this is the open-air tropical oasis the city never knew it needed.

spent ten magical days on martha’s vineyard + left no stone unturned.

i visited the art galleries, the museums, the libraries, + the farms, enjoyed a beach day + pool a day, had some of the best bites of my life, celebrated my dad’s 70th birthday + retirement (glory to God!), managed to get a seat inside an absolutely packed union chapel for a sunday service where one of my favorite preachers (rev. otis moss iii — iykyk) did what he does best, frolicked around circuit ave with friends, was mesmerized by the views from aquinnah cliffs, took the coldest plunge of my life at inkwell beach + became a polar bear, ate dinner next to a member of the obama household, + most importantly spent precious time with family✨.

my cup is running over + my heart is so full.

God is so generous.

mila’s lead line class debut! 👧🏽🎀🐴🤎✨

she spent just over a month prepping for this show + building such a special bond with mo, the most handsome german riding pony.

with so much anticipation, my baby girl saddled up for her very first horse show last friday while we, her fans/family, + everyone on the farm happily cheered her on.

such a special, love-filled moment i’ll never forget! 💕

this is just the beginning of many blue ribbons + more beautiful barn memories to come. 🐴🫶🏾

Grilling, But Make It Cute ✨ | Ep. 1

summer is here + boring grilling is out, cute grilling is in!

kicking off this series with pool party energy + brazilian-inspired flavors during the brazil vs. haiti match on juneteenth here in philly.🇧🇷☀️

living in a world cup host city has been so much fun :)

i made grilled pineapple caipirinhas that taste like vacation in a glass. 🍍🍹💛

save this for your next cookout or for when you need to feel like you’re lounging on the beaches of ipanema without leaving home. 😉
