After more than a decade living in the Basque Country, researching its history and writing two books about it, I've started running small-group and private history tours of Vitoria-Gasteiz.

If you're interested in Basque history—or know someone who is—give it a follow:

It was an honour to co-author a chapter in The Irish Revolution: Diplomacy and Reactions, 1919–1923 @corkuniversitypress with my former PhD supervisor, Professor Ludger Mees.

Co-edited by the late Professor Dermot Keogh, Mervyn O'Driscoll, and Owen McGee, this new volume explores how Irish revolutionaries transformed their struggle for independence into a global diplomatic campaign and assesses its international impact.

In our chapter, “Let us Learn, Basques”, Professor Mees and I examine the impact of the Irish Revolution in the Basque Country.
