Sound, light, texture, atmosphere.
A little glimpse into Scenery 5, an immersive night of ambient music and moving image at Blank Cultural Platform.

Slow-burning soundscapes, shifting projections and analogue visuals transformed the space into something entirely different for a few hours, with music from Umki, Orthotyp-a and Sebastian Field, and live visuals by Nicci Haynes.

A night for zoning in, tuning out, and letting the room become the experience.

Here’s a little piece of what it looked and sounded like. taken in Blank Cultural Platform by @niccihaynes

I tried KiCad, then Fritzing, then I just drew the circuit and etched it.

KID CONTEMPORARY

This week at Sydney Contemporary, photo access was delighted to present Kid Contemporary, inviting young visitors to the fair into the world of experimental filmmaking. 📽️🎞️

Working alongside artists Nicci Haynes and Louise Curham, children draw, scratch and create directly onto strips of 16mm film which are then combined to produce a collective projection artwork.

Kid Contemporary is generously supported by The Copyright Agency’s Cultural Fund.
