This picture personifies my life over the last year 🤣: a little blurry, a little crazy, my inability to stop moving - but most importantly always happy and eternally grateful.

Today marks one year since I left home. I keep asking myself (and everyone around me) how is it possible for so much to change in a single year?

I wish I could go back and give the old me a hug and tell her it's going to be okay! I would tell her that change is the only constant in life. It's not supposed to be easy and I promise it won't be boring. I think she needed that.

As 2021 comes to a close I feel like I'm not ready to end it! I miss my family and the people I love! If you know me, you will know this already!

7 months ago I packed up my life, resigned from my job and got onto a plane to go after a dream I had almost let go of... all this in the middle of a global pandemic..

This decision happened after many uncomfortable conversations with myself and my God. February last year, I used to look in the mirror and disliked the person I was becoming and the choices I made. I hurt myself. This was the hardest part to overcome - how to take accountability when the person you've hurt the most is yourself... (and I am still working on this!)

Since then life has taken me through so many twists and turns, I've realized I was broken when I thought I was empty, only to be put back together, whole.

There is not enough space on this post to record all the ways in which God has been good to me throughout this journey, most importantly the people I've met. From all corners of the world, all walks of life - my gratitude overflows...

Today I receive my 30s club membership, and I am so grateful for the journey life has given me, and for what is to come
