A recap on the TTRPG session that we hosted @the_blue_cabin in August!

Led by @epivaniak with @b.michaael on ambient sounds and @zeynepkirmiziyesil who designed a gorgeous life-sized map!

Here are some of the visuals I used (digital projector in daylight was a learning curve) and some of my hand drawn visuals with an overhead projector!

some of my touchdesigner & 16mm hand drawn analogue film experiments have me thinking about the intersections between panama city & vancouver even though they are their own distinct port towns and sometimes i confuse the two in my head even though they are so different geographically and culturally and somewhere in there is me—from neither city. nor would i designate any language involving “home” to either place although, i have ‘inhabited’ in ‘houses’ in both lands for years but, i have in bangkok too so i suppose it all adds up to look like a mess from the outside, especially considering belgrade was involved in there but so was buenos aires just as equally. oh, and the passport is a whole other concept to consider of course, which reads that I am ((from)) “India” and <born> in “Austria” and i still feel like none of these places are relevant to any discussion involving ‘me’ and also extremely important to ‘me’ at once.

are you following? because i think it makes sense to consider this medium of ‘video’ like a social experiment—which is not far from who i am aka from ‘no-where’ but the in-between.

or to even treat it like a ritual,
or like a demolition,
or to be in those two lanes at once,
like a superimposition w/ time.
