💫DAILY BIBLE READING CALENDAR✝️

This is from the “Souvenir Treasure Chest” of the “Back To The Bible Club” released many years ago in Alberta by the Calgary Prophetic Bible Institute.

This provides suggestions for Bible reading for every day of the week, in the Morning and Evening. Just look up the month and day and scripture suggestion.

For example today is September 8th, this guide shows ‘ISAIAH 65, 66’ for Morning, and ‘JOHN 4’ for the evening.

This is excellent for anyone that might be interested in the Bible and puts everyone on the same page each day.

If you miss some days, it’s all good. Just join back on whatever corresponding date and you’ll be right in sync!

Two Kings Reunited

On Friday, August 28, 2026, the beloved King Harald V of Norway passed away. He was King Charles’ cousin and had reigned for quite some time.

This news brings to mind an incredible Alberta connection to the Norwegian monarchy and I love this story because it’s one of the greatest moments in our history.

In 1984, there was a big party in Sarajevo for the Winter Olympics, and Ralph Klein who was mayor of Calgary at the time attended. He was there because he really wanted to bring the Winter Olympics to Calgary, Alberta eh.

So everything was going pretty well when Ralph was approached by an older gentleman. Ralph took one look at him and asked him to go get his car.

Everyone was shocked and quickly explained to Ralph that this was the King of Norway he was speaking to! Specifically, it was King Olav V, the father of the late King Harald.

Ralph apologized while laughing about his mistake and explained to the King: “In Alberta, our limousine drivers wear the exact same uniform.”

Hahahaha, I love this story.

Calgary ultimately ended up winning the honour of hosting the 1988 Winter Olympics, and it was a great year for North America and the entire world.

Ralph later went on to become Premier of Alberta and earned the title “King Ralph”, which is what we all called him… thanks to his strong leadership, eliminating the provincial debt, and bringing prosperity to the province.

Ralph Klein passed away in 2013.

God Bless Norway, God Bless Alberta, and God Bless The Arctic!
