We have exclusive BTS from our new documentary ‘Stalwart’ for you to see.

‘Stalwart’ is a recently released original documentary following three skateboarders as they navigate through technology’s effects on their passion and the state of modern skateboarding.

Check out some clips from our day spent at OneUp Skate Shop back in 2024.

We had the privilege to interview Brandon McConnell and hear his story of acquiring OneUp and building upon its legacy.

This shot was captured with a first generation GoPro Hero. It was a silly feeling running it along the grind rail, but it paid off.

The vibrancy of the interior is hard to find in businesses, it’s an accurate reflection of the creativity, passion, and youthful spirit behind the shop.

Despite the interconnectivity that smartphones and technology have provided, in-person communities like skateboarding don’t seem to reflect that. Hear how two skateboard shops who were staples in their towns were affected by social media. People no longer need to experience the events themselves; watching the recordings over the internet provide the same effect.

"I don't think people realize how their lack of presence sometimes deters people like me, who are putting all of our time and energy into something to keep it alive from really wanting to do as much anymore..."
