Welcome to The Cult of Judy ✨

Niche Artefact is a collective nurturing spaces for local artists to express creativity through art exhibitions and live stage shows, while creating space for the LGBTQIA+ community to discover the magic within themselves.

The Cult of Judy will take place at @decubanottingham on Sunday 29th November 2026. This unique, glamorous art event, complete with a full live variety stage show, will begin at 6pm.

Enter a world of Hollywood glamour, theatrical spectacle and a celebration of the legendary Judy Garland. Spend the evening mingling with live performers and local artists as they unveil one-of-a-kind, never-before-seen artwork, while enjoying a varied programme of live entertainment and a silent auction. From the silver screen to the Niche stage, discover the magic, artistry and enduring legacy of a true icon.

Seven Deadly Sins — what a night.

Our busiest Niche Artefact showcase yet, and we sold out! We couldn’t have asked for a better way to bring our 15th showcase to life.

Thank you to every artist who exhibited, everyone who joined us in the audience, and everyone who gives us the space and support to rehearse, create and put these shows on.

At a time when so many events and creative spaces are struggling to keep going, we feel incredibly fortunate to have a community that continues to show up for Niche Artefact. It’s because of that support that we can keep creating these spaces, championing local talent and doing what we do.

For now, a huge thank you from all of us at Niche Artefact. More from Seven Deadly Sins to come.

✨The Discerning Eye 2026 announcement - thrilled to share some very exciting news! ✨
I’m absolutely delighted to have had my work selected for The Discerning Eye Exhibition 2026. Now in it’s fourth decade, it’s an incredible honour to be part of this prestigious event.
My piece, ‘Tallow, Taboo and Tryst’, will be on display and available for sale at the beautiful Mall Galleries in London.
Feeling incredibly grateful and excited to be part of this wonderful exhibition!
A huge thank you to @discerningeyeorg and @parkerharrisco for selecting my work - I couldn’t be more thankful and happy. Also the greatest thanks as always to my haus @nicheartefact and all my amazing friends and family who continually support me in my art journey.

🗓The Discerning Eye exhibition will take place at the Mall Galleries from 13 to 21 November 2026, and online until 1 January 2027.

👀The exhibition was curated by six independent selectors: actor and arts champion Hugh Bonneville, artist and scientist Jasmine Pradissitto, art lawyer and collector Jon Sharples, portrait artist Kelvin Okafor, culture journalist Martin Robinson, and Financial Times art market columnist Mel Gerlis.

🖼Out of 6,800+ entries, only 750+ artworks by 550+ artists were shortlisted for this prestigious show.

🎨The Discerning Eye showcases talent across all media: painting, drawing, sculpture, print, photography, video, textile, ceramic and more.

🕛The exhibition is free to visit every day, 10am to 5pm, from Friday 13 to Saturday 21 November 2026.
