POSTS STORIES REELS

I've never been a huge social media poster, but it felt like a good time to throw something out there, for me. Be prepared, here comes an artistic ramble......

The dust has finally settled on Midnight Circle Productions tour of 'Wuthering Heights', the first tour I have directed. The response was truly overwhelming, with 5 and 4 star reviews, and amazing feedback from the audience! It was honestly an amazing experience, and I couldn't have asked for a better team!

'Wuthering Heights' has always had a special significance for me. It was the first show I performed in professionally (back in 2011) and now it appears again for me at another point in my journey.

After an amazing two years, I've decided to take a step back from directing for a while, to focus on acting, writing, family and maybe myself as well.

If the past two years has reinforced anything in me, it's that you never stop learning in this industry, and holy moly I've learnt a lot in a short space of time.

'He's rambling!'
'Get on with it!'

Well, in short, thank you to everyone who has worked with me, supported me and cheered me on. Thank you to the casts, the production teams, the venues, the audiences. Thank you for the highs, the lows, the laughs and the stressed out facial expressions.

Thank you to everyone who made these two years more than I could ever have comprehended. Let's see what comes next! by @nicholas.benjamin63

I don't normally post much these days, but thought since I'm going through a few changes why not have an update

Here's a selection of some of my smaller TV and Film appearances. There's undoubtedly a stigma when it comes to accepting SA work, but for me every experience has its own worth......and let's face it, work is work! by @nicholas.benjamin63

Catch me tonight on Sky Crime at 9pm, playing the leading role of Sean Vincent Gillis, in Worlds Most Evil Killers. Sadly I’ll be watching the catch-up version as I’m currently in Newcastle filming my first episode of Doctor Who Fan series Eras, in which I appear as the master #actor #documentary #crime #worldsmostevilkillers #skycrime #tv by @nicholas.benjamin63

I was a late comer to ‚D&D but now it seems to be a fairly big part of my life. You can catch me voicing the role Edmund, the lead characters father, in the audio drama ‚Epoch of the Galhorn‘ (Episode 6: Seeds of the Past). #actor #voiceactor #dungeonsanddragons #audiodramapodcast by @nicholas.benjamin63

So after a year out in public ‘Absent Thoughts’ has finally been picked up by a film festival. From 19th July you will be able to stream it via the ‘Lift Off Film Festival’ website. ‘Absent Thoughts’ deals with the theme of domestic violence and is based on true events. Viewer discretion is advised. I appear as one of the leads and lent my writing services to it under my pen name Alexander Wright. With this bit of news I would also like to announce that I am in the early stages of getting another self penned short in to production. ‘Hear Me’ is a hopefully a hard hitting short which deals with the theme of Rape and is once again based on two true stories. Hoping to go in to production sometime end of this year/start of next. #actor #writer #shortfilm #rapeawareness #domesticviolence #filmfestival by @nicholas.benjamin63

Loading up some projects from this year. Here’s a short called ‘Max and Max’, with me playing my darkest role yet. You can watch it from the link below, but warning for mature content and upsetting themes. #actor #shortfilm #dark #murder #abuse

Well I’ve been promising them for a while, but here they are! Say hello to my new headshots! Major thanks to Nick James Photography! I love them! #actor #headshots #nickjamesphotography #pushingforward #newcasting by @nicholas.benjamin63

Well I was going to upload my new headshots or give an update on one of the many projects I have done whilst being off grid, but this has blown me away. I found out the other day and that I have won the Best Actor Award at the White Deer International Film Festival for my role in ‘Piggies’. Can’t believe it! I feel so honoured! #actor #awardwinning #bestactoraward #piggies #whitedeerfilmfestival #suballeyproductions by @nicholas.benjamin63

I never seem to get a moment to post these days. The past two weeks have been intense to say the least! I thought I would throw this up though, one of last weeks more entertaining characters! Haven’t posted for a bit, been an insane few weeks! Wrapped on another short film yesterday and the past two weeks has just been a blur of TIE shows, kids party hosting, D&D hosting, radio prep and writing. Been pulling far to many 16-18 hour days recently! On the bright side the IMDB page is looking fairly solid and on the way to shoot some background stuff for BBC 3 today #actor #actorslife #film #tv #bbc3 by @nicholas.benjamin63

Insanely busy couple of weeks! Started off last Monday with a photo shoot for SmartRoom, then a full week of Rainbow Shows before finishing off with a leading role in another short film ‘The Postman’. Really excited to see how this one turns out! In the meantime check out this link to another recent short ‘Max and Max’. Warning it’s very dark! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=26mRQfSs9HA&feature=youtu.be. #actor #film #model #shortfilm #actorslife by @nicholas.benjamin63

And that’s a wrap on two more shorts (it’s been a busy week!), the dark thriller ‘Max and Max’ for Koinfided Chronicles and the horror short Walk of Fear’ for Middlesex University! No photos sadly but here are some pics from one of my first award winning shorts ‘Recall’ (Best Picture at HAFTA) #actor #busy #film #filmactor #horror #thriller #2016 #2021 #middlesexuniversity by @nicholas.benjamin63
