Solid weekend. Family picnic that included kickball with the cousins and a game of questions for my mother to answer. She seemed to enjoy dunking me the most (I definitely deserve it lol). Finished with a trip to a beach with friends. by @nicholas.crowder88

Thank you @bandaz_03 for letting @aprilmae03 and I take you to college. The trip was definitely worth it and more memories were made. Getting to see @oralrobertsu was super cool. Taking you shopping to get stuff for your apartment, walking around the campus, seeing where you will be playing baseball. Thank you for letting us do this. taken in Oral Roberts University by @nicholas.crowder88

2026. What a summer this has been. We have had memorable years but this summer takes the cake. Going from hosting one player to FOUR; playing board and card games, late night conversations, watching you guys play with Maddox and let loose your inner child, making not just Maddox but us as well feel like part of the team. Many of you that we didnt host but it felt like you were also part of our family. This has been one hell of a summer. Thank you for making summers like this possible. There was never a dull moment at the Crowder house this year. Let's run it back next year. Roll Logs!

Becoming a host family for the @laxloggers has been the best decision we have made. When @aprilmae03 and I initially became host parents we didn't realize the impact that not only the impact we would have on the players, but the impact they would have on us. We didn't choose to do this for perks, money, (ballpark) fame, or honestly even thank yous. We did this to give these young men a place to call home and be comfortable.

Over the past 7 years we have had the opportunity to meet some incredible people. These guys have stepped into our lives and never left. Every year we get to open our homes to them and there is something to be said when they call your house "home" and the bedroom "my room".

Ever since Maddox was born there has been a shift. He is now the star of the show and it is so much fun to watch him interact the guys. They have become like his uncles and I wouldnt have it any other way. Speaking of impact, his Godfather was gained last year in @ethanedingerr.

Beyond baseball, you know you have made the guys comfortable and feel welcome when they let their guard down around you and you get to see them laugh uncontrollably, smile, joke around, and you see them get to be kids again. Its easy to forget how young you are still when your life has revolved around nothing but baseball.

Thank you not only our guys this year, or in past years but also the countless others that we arent/havent hosted in helping make the summers entertaining and unforgettable.

Couldn't ask for a better way to spend our anniversary weekend. 16 years of marriage has brought us plenty of ups and downs but it all has led to this. Family time. Smiles. Laughs. Memories. I love you @aprilmae03 by @nicholas.crowder88

2025 Loggers season was a special year. No amount of pictures or videos could really capture the bond that we had with this group of guys. Maddox became basically a part of the team and ran (literally and figuratively) the ballpark. We are extremely grateful for the memories made this summer and it will be very difficult to top this years group of young men.

Bud. How are you TWO already?!? Feels like just yesterday you fit in a baseball glove and now you are basically playing baseball. Everyday is a blessing with you and your mother around. I love you Maddox. @aprilmae03 by @nicholas.crowder88

I was going to be cliche and use the Fireflies song but the pure joy coming from him is the best soundtrack. @aprilmae03 #fireflies #corememory by @nicholas.crowder88
