I'd like to thank @maxxistires for their support in my 2025 racing efforts, and for this upcoming season! If you are in the market for a tire that is great for track days, or fast, durable and competitive in club sprint racing and endurance competition, the VR2 and RC1 are great options. I have ran variants of these tires in 255/40/17 over the past few years, including running 57.0 at Lime Rock Park in a restricted ST5/GLTC configuration, my fastest lap ever there⚡. There is new 18" 255 sizing available this year in the VR2, which I look forward to trying! by @nicholasbarbato

NASA ST5 National Champion!!!!⚡ Let's Goooooo!!!!😄

I'm over the moon. It was a killer week on a challenging race track. If you haven't been to Pitt Race, add it to your bucket list. It's a beautiful facility with some stomach turning blind corners and it will test your driving skills (and courage) to the maximum. I had a great first lap battle with the s2000 of Jeff Stutler in the Qualy Race (check out the video!) and I got a great run from pole in the Championship race that allowed me to pull a gap while my competitors battled behind. After a late caution flag, I was able to cool the tires, hold the lead on the restart and take the win. Shout out to Jeff and Samed Rizvi who drove their butts off to well earned podium positions. I believe these guys will be future champions and they put on a show.

I made some wonderful memories with my wife Amy, Liam, Ronnie, Jay and Lee. The Track Monsters team ended the weekend with a hard fought podium in Honda Challenge 2, with Jay earning his first NASA Championships podium in his first attempt.

After months of hard work to prepare the car for this race, it's an incredible feeling to have it materialize in a NASA Championship. I've had such a great experience racing with this organization. It offers a ruleset that gives drivers a real opportunity to shine while creating an environment of great camaraderie. Thank you to the NASA staff for putting on a heck of an event! Thank you to Maxxis Tires for the great contingency and congrats for dominating the TT5 and ST5 podiums!

There are lots more pictures, videos and stories to tell in coming posts. But for now, thanks to my team, partners and supporters. Love you guys and I hope you take a piece of this with you too!!

On-board from my best lap of the weekend at Lime Rock Gridlife @circuitlegends , a 57.465 and (at the time) a new GLTC RWD track record! I did this time on a set of sticker @maxxistires 255/35/18 VR2 tires, running 207 peak hp on the dyno and 2775 lbs across the scales, all with a mostly stock S52 engine, cable throttle, stock ECU tuned by @epicmotorsports , stock ABS, stock transmission, stock brake calipers and single adjustable, non-remote @shaftworks_usa shocks. Some trick aero bits from @sttrackparts , like the Titanium skid blocks helped me to run aggressive with the front splitter height. I am immensely proud to have earned 2 sprint wins this year against some full tilt builds!

Setup wise, I made some alignment, wing angle and shock adjustments during testing, but I think a rear bar adjustment could have bought me another tenth...probably not enough to change the outcome but it will be precious time as I continue to develop the car and move forward in to 2027...with some BIG changes to the drivetrain that might truly catapult it to the front of the field...more to come!

Eibach GLTC delivered all weekend long at Circuit Legends. Huge shoutout to @main_line_motorsport @eric_kutil_racing @nicholasbarbato for taking the podium—and an unbelievable show of wheel-to-wheel action from the entire GRID!

The dramatic final lap and a half of Race 4 at the 2026 Gridlife Touring Cup at Lime Rock Park, Circuit Legends, taking my 3rd career win in the series.

Still S52 powered, cable throttle on stock ECU tuned by Randy @epicmotorsports

Can't thank my crew enough for the race day support, and can't thank all of you enough for the messages I received afterward - totally wild. I lived a dream this weekend and this was one of the most epic wins of my career, winning in this fashion with this car. More to come.

Back at Lime Rock Park for @circuitlegends !! After missing Watkins Glen due to my engine failure at Road Atlanta, it's been nose to the grindstone to get ready for this final race of the season. I've gave everything I could to prepare the car, and just added a little bling with some flares and trick @sttrackparts aero discs, how cool are those? After a decent P6 qualy, I had 2 killer overtakes and a great race 1, moving up to P4 running down the leaders, holding fast lap for a while. I think this is everything we can get out of this sturdy little s52 car - we will hopefully send her off in style this weekend! Let's see what today brings, we'll get 100% and see where that lands👊👊😈😈 by @nicholasbarbato

Road Atlanta with @gridlifeofficial was a tough luck weekend, but it was a great opportunity to do some testing, have some great on track battles and observe setup differences and pace potential before the final two races of the season. I learned a few things on the TC setup and rules configuration side that also will help me to do better.

I did have some fun flying over that curbing though...this track is something else - what a ride going 5th gear flat through the esseses and the elevation change through Turn 10/11! Highly recommend getting down there to drive it at least once🤙

Now with a much needed break before Watkins Glen in July, I will be able to finally hunker down in the garage and "finish" the TC prep on the car, primarily fender flares, a livery, CF hood, other goodies ☺️ and most importantly, doing everything I can to try and add some power under the "flat tuning" rules. I am tremendously proud of getting a 2nd legit sprint win and overall podium in this car last month at CMP amongst some fierce competition, probably a fresh set of tires away from an overall win... and will give all I can to try and replicate that at Lime Rock in August. Watkins Glen, a big power track, will be a similar challenge to RA for my car (the less straights the better for me) but I think I could still eek out a podium if the cards line up with some setup changes- qualifying will be critical!! Every 0.001s counts when you are still rocking an s52, cable throttle and 5spd tranny😬. A proper splitter will be going on for the final rounds as well, a nice match for the high speed corners at both of these killer tracks that I LOVE to drive and know very well.

Nicky is gonna keep battling to the death with this underdog! Either way I embrace this challenge and love racing many of these killer drivers.

Feeling cute, might even throw some aftermarket engine management on her👌
