Great performance with Evan Runge today!

Snippet of the ending of Beethoven’s 2nd violin sonata. The whole time Beethoven is being cheeky, as if he’s saying “I can do more” each time in the piano part. This “dual” (in which the piano part feels of superiority) can be found by him adding a final note for the piano, but not the violin ;)

What an honour it was to perform for the celebration of life of Dr. Brian Mortimer, vice Dean of carleton_u at the beautiful Richcraft Hall. So many incredible stories about his life will stay with me for a long time. It is incredible how much of an impact Brian had on Carleton University and literally hundreds of thousands of students! Thank you to Ian, Angus, and Lucy for having us perform violin-piano.
