Hay jugadores que pasan por un club… y hay jugadores que se convierten en el club. Antoine Griezmann fue eso para mí y para millones de atléticos.

Después de tantos años viéndote, apoyándote y defendiendo estos colores contigo, el año pasado por fin pude verte jugar en persona por primera vez en el Mundial de Clubes contra el PSG, el día de mi cumpleaños número 27. Y como si el destino quisiera regalarme algo más, dos días después tuve el honor de conocerte y que firmaras mi camiseta.

Hoy, el mismo día de tu último partido con el Atleti, inmortalicé esa firma en mi pierna izquierda para siempre.

Porque no es solo una firma. Es el recuerdo de una etapa, de una pasión, de un futbolista que lo dio absolutamente todo por este club. Máximo goleador histórico, cuarto jugador con más partidos… pero más allá de los números, uno de los jugadores más importantes que he visto vestir esta camiseta.

Gracias por todo, Grizi. Gracias por hacerme enamorarme aún más de este club.

Two years ago, I wrote this poem thinking I was sending it out into the void. Two years later, it sits nestled among so many other beautiful love letters and poems. I feel incredibly honored that my words have found a home in this beautiful book and are now forever imprinted.

Today, more than anything, I’m grateful to still be here

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to send a message, make a call, leave a comment, or reach out in any way. I’m still working through all of them, but please know that every single message has meant the world to me 💙

A huge thank you as well to everyone who spent part of their day watching Brazil’s first World Cup match with me and helping me celebrate another year around the sun. There aren’t many better birthday gifts than football, friends, and shared memories 🇧🇷🍻⚽️

A bucket list item years in the making: I finally ran my first-ever 5K! 🏃🏻🏅

As someone who used to run but hasn’t in a long time, signing up last minute with basically zero training wasn’t exactly the plan—but I’m so glad I did it.

Thank you to @bjodoingthings for pushing me, inspiring me, and introducing me to Nashville’s incredible running community. Thank you to @fleetfeetnashville for hosting such an amazing event and to @geodispark for providing such a special setting.

Shoutout to my brother @nayibescalona for motivating me when I wasn’t sure I had anything left in the tank 👊🏼

And most importantly, thank you to @andreafonsii - My rock, my anchor, and my biggest inspiration. Having you there meant everything. Every step I took was for us and for our little family of three 💙♾️🐾

The finish line was special, but sharing it with the people who matter made it unforgettable

Today is Remy’s 1st birthday!!!!! 🥳🐾 Which also means he came into our lives 10 months ago today. Somehow, it feels like you’ve been by our sides forever! We never realized just how much more love we had to give until you came along, and we’re SO incredibly grateful we get to share it with you.

You’ve brought so much light and comfort into our lives in ways we can’t fully explain. Just knowing we get to have you with us along the ride makes life feel softer and so much more meaningful.

Here’s to more belly rubs, pup cups, walks at the park, silly nicknames, more reasons to laugh, late night cuddles, happy tail wags at the door, stolen spots on the couch, sleepy car rides, yummy treats, little adventures together, and a lifetime of being loved exactly the way you deserve.
