It has been what’s felt like 10 years in only 4, almost 5 years. We have been through so much together, built each other up selflessly and relentlessly. You are my best friend Kayla and I couldn’t be happier making it official that we are going to spend our life together. I love you my dear. 2025: The Plot Twist Year

If 2024 was the season finale cliffhanger, 2025 was the “previously on…” montage where things slowly started making sense again.

The main event of the year was coming back from a short time off work in between jobs. Both my fiancée Kayla and I had a rough 2024. One of those years that humbles you fast. But we made the best of it, and thanks to friends and family, we made it through some genuinely tough times. That support meant everything.

2025 kicked off like a roller coaster. We relocated back to the East Bay from Sonoma and moved into our first house together — still wild to say. Around the same time, I tried to get back into working out… and instead accidentally discovered something life-changing: golf.

Somehow, golf completely took over my year. New people, new places, more time outside, less time on the couch. My mental state alone is one of the biggest changes I’ve seen, and I owe a huge part of that to the game and the friendships that came with it.

Kayla and I both had exciting years at work and learned a lot about ourselves. I realized I’m no longer passionate about the traditional sales/business side of roles. What really excites me is computer science, software, and building things — a realization that came from pursuing a new role and picking up skills that feel critical heading into the AI era.

Looking back, it’s hard to believe how much fit into one year. I hit the slopes, golfed everywhere (a lot), got back into music and DJ events, met new people, traveled, and ate some incredible food. But somehow, 2025 feels like the calm before the storm.

It didn’t come without challenges — life isn’t as perfect as Instagram makes it look — but it was a much-needed pause before the real grind begins.

As I head into my 30s, the next five years are about focus: stepping into a new industry, chasing big life goals, prioritizing health, and building something meaningful. Move in silence. Stay focused. Still enjoy the course. Get back into shape.

Who said core memories are only made in childhood?

Endlessly grateful for my friends and family.
Life wouldn’t be the same without you.

Happy New Year. 🥂 taken in Avengers Tower by @nicholasrose__

Come play some bogey golf with Chris & I! ⛳️

First time posting a golf reel and it only felt right to start it off at @golfersbz in San Mateo. Chris and I played Pebble Beach’s Spanish Bay virtually to start preparing for our round at the resort in March 👀🌊

Golf is such a funny game. I’ve always struggled to capture what it actually feels like — the chaos, the small wins, the mental rollercoaster. The sim finally let me show a little bit of that.

I had a hole with an awful tee shot that somehow turned solid… and then a great tee shot that turned into a disaster. That’s golf 😂

After one year of grinding, range sessions, and way too many lost balls… my swing is finally starting to feel like it’s becoming mine. That alone feels like progress.

Even though the sim was awesome, nothing beats being outside. That’s still my favorite part of this whole thing. But this was a cool way to bring the experience to life — and I’m thinking about getting some gear to film more on-course content.

Would love feedback on this format 👇🏼
What do you want to see more of?

Golf really has been life-changing for me. Grateful for the game and the people it’s brought into my life.

And as always, TEE OFF IN STYLE with @nvalsgolf ! Can’t recommend my Nvals Gear anymore than I already do!!

Half moon bay golf on a Thursday afternoon. Couldn’t feel more blessed, to be able to live this type of comfort in a world of absolute chaos.

That was an amazing round, easily my new favorite course for links.
