Three days. 2000+ people. A city I love turned into a skate scene I will never forget. ☮️❤️
I spent the past month supporting the @oneday_ibk team in the lead up to GSDS26 and watching everything they worked on for over a year finally come to life was something else. I got to work on the app, design the gallery space and be part of every detail along the way. Thank you @oneday_ibk for trusting me with this. It meant a lot.
Having my photos shown in the gallery next to such great photographers feels so amazing.
And none of this would have looked the way it did without the volunteers. Over 50 people who showed up out of pure passion for the skate community, put in so much work and asked for nothing in return. That kind of energy is rare and it made the whole event feel like something real.
The amount of incredible people I got to meet and see during these three days honestly exceeded every expectation I had.
Innsbruck has a skate scene that genuinely inspires me. It is a big part of why I moved here and weekends like this remind me it was the right call.

Laax Open 2026 war dieses Jahr wieder mehr als nur ein Contest.

Zwischen Snowpark, Fashion Show und Subkultur wurde einmal mehr klar: Style ist ein genauso großer Teil dieses Events wie Tricks und Runs.
Mit Zalando als Hauptsponsor und dem Gefühl, eher auf einer Fashion Show als im klassischen Snowpark zu stehen, hat Laax dieses Jahr wieder neue Maßstäbe gesetzt.
@yungdoli präsentierte gemeinsam mit @drink_sexy und @jetset.ch aus St. Moritz seine neue Kollektion und zeigte wie stark Snowboarden, High Fashion und Szene verschmelzen können.

Genau diesen Vibe hat @nicipedia eingefangen und mit einem spontanen Fitcheck für alle sichtbar gemacht.

Rider, Zuschauer und Crew waren Teil davon – authentisch, ungestellt und mitten aus dem @laax Open Gewusel .

This is not America! Zum Glück kennt sich @nicipedia in seiner alten Heimat noch so gut aus, dass er @robinwiikk überzeugen kann, dass 1,5h von IBK nicht der 52. Bundesstaat beginnt sondern einfach an der @alpspitzbahn_ die Uhren auf Freestyle ticken. @no_renz ist auch glücklich!
Das WE steht vor der Tür und der @alpspitzpark_nesselwang in voller Blüte!
